SteveHarris
I just ordered a 12# spring for my Para P16-40 Limited. Should I use a buffer? I'll be shooting both 125 PF and 165 PF................ Steve

Julien Boit
I'd recommend the red buffers from Hiett technologies. They come in three sizes .090, .125 an .200 They are the better I've tried.

Jasonub
On my para type gun i used to put 2 wilson blue buffs. On my SV its the cominolli frame saver tungsten rod. 1 red at the rear. 2 wilson sandwitching a thin black cominolli buff. Then a thin plate shaped like a buff is put between the spring and the buffs Result 3000 rounds without changing the front buffs. I replaced the rear buff at 1500

jpc
I use CP BULLETS shok-buffs. in my p1640. Use 1 and lasts 3000 rds or so.
eric nielsen
ONE Ed Brown blonde/white/clear buff. They last a very long time. One buff (at a time) is all you need. Unless you like malfunctions - then go ahead & experiment.
kevin c
I use Hiett .090's in my Para's with 14# Wolff variables. They get cut up a bit after a couple thousand rounds, but I flip them over and go another couple K. That's with major PF. Minor loads go another couple K. wide45
Each gun is different. Some will run with multiple buffers, others will choke on one. Shooters are different too. Some like the feel with extra buffers, some find no advantage. You have to find what works for you.
Newguy
Where can I find the Hiett red buffs? Brownells is out of stock and I can't find anyone else who stocks them. I also can't find the website for Hiett to order directly.
