Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I use CP BULLETS shok-buffs. in my p1640. Use 1 and lasts 3000 rds or so.
  2. Matts book and dvds are all great. They really helped me a lot buy em all!!!!!!!!
  3. Just my .02 cents. I do not have a dillon yet so IM limitied to about 100-150 rounds per practice session. So I really do alot with my .22 for a warmup. Then do my .40 para. Try too make every shot count and work on a good practice rountine. When my get my dillion and grt more monies to spend I will increase my round count.

    Good Gun Guys

I would like to give two thumbs up to a few compaines that are great to deal with and have given me great advice. There are others IM sure you guys can give your thoughts on this subject. Here goes Wilson Combat, dawson precision, gans guns, brownells and SUE at the para pro shop. These will continue to get my business. What do you guys think. Thanks.
  6. Ti will be better in a .45, my gunsmith said ti firing pins are too brittle in a .40 due to increased pressure. Of course hes talking wrap-speed many rounds downrange. IM not that fast yet i put my monies towards more rounds. Any thoughts guys?
  7. Thanks I will try Dawson precision.
  8. I would like to buy factory pre-ban new para p-16-40 nickel mag tube bodies. Anyone know a link that can help me out? Thanksl
  9. Here in pa. anyone can buy a gun and get a permit to carry, as long as they pass background check and fill out the paperwork. Who knows how many of these people have even shot there guns? I believe if you get a permit to carry .you have to first pass a basic gun safety and markmen course, like other states require. Nothing drastic say 15 foot get your shots in a 5 inch area. Dont get me wrong I dont what the state too screw it up just so idoits dont shoot bystanders. What do you think? Thanks
  10. I have been using a Browing Buckmark .22 pistol to try to help get my shooting better quicker, very useful and of course cheaoer than shooting a lot of .40. I do drills with it except draws and dryfire. Good idea or what? Also its a good warmup. My questions are should i get a .22 conversion kit to use on my para p16 Marvel makes one.(my limitied gun) Or should i buy Kimbers .22 pistol on a 1911 frame? Or what ?? I am limitied as far as money is concerned. The only problem with buying the marvel kit is using and getting the para too dirty and wearing out parts. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. I know shooting the .22 helped me get better quicker.
  11. Brian, Are you going to write a update or write a new book? I read and reread your book,it was a great help. I also got tape 3 of matt burketts training series. Your interview with matt that was really good. I learned a great deal and applied it too my shooting. Big help. W orking on timing drills and watching the sights during the shooting sequence. Please put out more stuff.
