  1. 3.8 grains of WST under your 200 grain lead bullet. OAL = 1.135.
  2. I guess it could be "acceptable or natural" for someone..........not for me! Hammer follow is an UNSAFE condition that needs to be corrected prior to firing the handgun.
  3. In my opinion, Promag has never had a reputation for producing quality magazines. I was bitten once, many years back. I learned my lesson.
  4. Yep, I have a 2 dot barrel in a 9mm 5 inch Pro, with a shell case collection date of Dec 13, 2012. Accuracy is on par with my other 9mm 5 inch Pro with a Storm Lake Machine barrel. I have no complaints.
  5. Yep.....3.8 grains of WST should get you there.
  6. A 185 grain cast bullet over 4.3 grains of WST loaded to 1.135 OAL makes major in my 5 inch 40 caliber Trojan. Should get ypu pretty close with your precision bullets.
  7. Don't know anything about an X6, but this load works well in my M&Ps, CZ and STI Trojan 9mm.
  8. Titegroup plus cast bullets equals a large of smoke. I highly suggest 3.8 grains of WST loaded to about a 1.130 OAL.
  9. I like 135s...best of both worlds.
  10. When you say "delay" are you meaning the slide seems to catch when moving forward? Mine was doing the same thing every once in a while depending on the bullet profile I was shooting. If I rode my slide forward I could induce a three point jamb that could be remedied by bumping the slide forward. I had the issue with SWC and Truncated Cone profile bullets. I never had a problem with round nose. Me, being a 1911 kind of guy, removed my M&P extractor and smoothed up and slightly increased the bevel on the bottom of the extractor hook similar to tuning a 1911 extractor.........no more "delay".
  11. Shane, PM me with your mailing address and I will send you a 9mm EGW/Lee U die....no charge (if I can find it). Dave
  12. Thank you everyone for your responses. The quest continues.........
  13. Now I'm really confused. I replaced the Apex sear with the stock S&W M&P Pro sear and the initial trigger drag disappeared. Yep....
  14. Just today, I installed a new striker that I got from Brownells. It did not fix my situation. I may head for my work bench and start swapping parts from my other M&Ps.
  15. Thank you Apex USB installed with the Apex kit. That's not the problem.
  16. Thank you for the information. I guess the trigger bar loop may be the culprit. The trigger safety is not catching on the way up.
  17. I have a new M&P Pro 9mm that seems to have a two stage trigger. When I press the trigger, I can feel the sear start to move, then it kind of hangs up just prior to releasing the sear. I have installed an Apex competition sear/spring kit and polished the daylights out of everything possible. The trigger was just plain nasty prior to the Apex install. I have three other M&Ps and have been very successful installing Apex stuff and just polishing up the stock parts. I am starting to think I have a sear block that may out of spec. Any ideas? Thanks Dave
  18. WST....wst.....WST....and WST. Very little smoke. Just don't try to push them too fast.
  19. Just to throw out another idea......if you are going to shoot factory length 40 calibers (1.135 or shorter) you may want to try the Tripp 40 caliber mags instead of the 10mms. I have both for my STI Trojan 40 and prefer the 40 calibers if I am shooting 1.135 length rounds.
  20. You are right on the money guessing 3.3 - 3.4 grains of WST and a 147 grain bullet.
  21. Is this with m&p 5in? OAL? OAL = 1.130 M&P 5 inch pro and also in my 4 inch M&P. When I was shooting a CZ -75 SP01 I also used this load.
