  1. I am looking for and extended mag release for a Jericho 941, which is basically a Tanfoglio Witness small frame. If you have one that you can part with I can do Paypal.

  3. I shot a friend's Czeckmate. Nice gun. It ran very well, and pretty flat shooting. Load was 8.5 gr of VV 3N38 I think.
  4. If the pin travels too far forward it will get stuck in the hole.
  5. The firing pin spring is too short, allowing too much firing pin travel. Try adding a few coils of the old spring behind the new spring.
  6. Make the firing pin safety black with a felt pen. Dry fire a bunch if times. Remove the fps and inspect it to see if and where the fps is rubbing on the firing pin.
  7. Did u polish the under side of the sear ? I have seen a few that are quite rough.
  8. 1.105 oal..... VV 320.....124 or147 gr. for production loads.
  9. CZ has a better d/a trigger system. All the rest is pretty much equal.
  10. If the trigger bar is sticking and not being lifted high enough to to contact and push back on the sear leg the hammer will not drop.
  11. If the ballpoint pen spring is too soft u can nest 2 springs together. OR : What i do now is i increase the inside diameter of the factory tbl spring. First i weigh the spring, then i reduce the weight by 20 to 30 % until i get what i want. I use a small round diamond chainsaw sharpening file chucked in a dremel. I do this with clipped firing pin springs too. With a little patience u can get exactly what u want with this method.
  12. Take .03 off the hammer side of the firing pin retainer plate.
  13. Muzzle flip is a big issue for me. Lots of flip with a Glock17, way way less with a CZ Shadow so I prefer the Shadow. What is muzzle flip like with the Excalibur?
  14. There was a spring but i guess not strong enough. I finally used silicone to keep it together.
  15. I have had 2 LPA sights on my Shadows. They both broke : ( The problem was that top of the sight moved up and down on the elevation screw during recoil / cycling and the elevation screws finally broke and i lost the springs during recoil. A stronger screw might help.....
  16. I can't remember. I filed either the front or back sight down until it hit point of aim at 15m which is the average b-zone distance at my ipsc club.
  17. Mine is very accurate. I modified the factory fixed sights so that it hits dead on at 15
  18. Check this out : http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=37703.0
  19. I have a 2 y.o. Jericho. The front sight is .347. Without removing the rear sight it measures about .450
  20. It is possible that " hump" on the rear of the extractor is protruding into the firing pin channel and catching on the fp spring and slowing it down.
  21. IMI has always produced both the frame safety and " slide safety " models. At one time they even produced a double action only model with no safety. I have pics of it somewhere.....
