  1. Sounds fun but that's the same weekend as the 3 gun championship in Marble Falls at Copperhead Creek which has also been the same weekend as the TXMG in Liberty Hill.
  2. My Gen 2 has no problem with pmags but I can't seat a Surefire 60. I think the Gen 3 accepts Surefire mags.
  3. I use the Dillon crimp die on my 650 and have had no problems what so ever. I did however have some primer draw back with my dillon sizing/depriming die and switched over to a Lee in position 1. The Lee works ok but I have noticed that the beveled opening on the lee is not as pronounced as the dillon and I get hang ups on the die mouth (even with case being pushed all the way against the shell plate). I've since switched back to the dillon after polishing and beveling the depriming pin which now doesn't pull the primer back into the pocket.
  4. I am down to my last 8lbs of Win231 (same as HP38) and recently found 24lbs of Bullseye at my local shop. I started working up some loads last night to test this week on my 125gr RN SNS Casting bullets. I am going to run some 3.7gr and some 4.0gr of Bullseye through the chrono and see how it compares to the Win231. I'll then move on to my Xtreme 115gr RN and 147s with the Bullseye and see how they perform. Nick
  5. I booked my flight from Houston to Kansas City on United so I'm committed now. I'm looking forward to this match.
  6. I grabbed 1lb of tite group and 1lb of CFE Pistol to try to work of some loads as well.
  7. I'm down to my last 8lbs of Win231 and haven't seen any for sale in a year or more. I lucked out over the last couple of weeks at my local reloading supply shop and scored some Bullseye. I've never used Bullseye but have heard some good things about it and since its pistol powder I wasn't going to be picky. I see Alliant has 4.7gr for a 115gr 9mm RN bullet listed at 1144FPS. I'll start about 4.3 or so and see if that puts me at about 1050 or so. Any one else have a good pet load for 115s? I typically use Xtreme or Berrys plated. I also have about 2000 of the SNS casting new style ogive 125gr 9mm coated bullets. Anyone have a recipe for these? Lastly, I also have some Xtreme 147s and some SNS Casting Coated 147s I'd like to load up w/ some of this Bullseye as well. Recipes? All of this will be used for 3 gunning so no need to meet any power factors, just need to be able to knock down steel and poke holes in paper. Thanks in advance. Nick Oh, and here's a shot of my score... 4x - 8#
  8. Big Guys Shooting Supply http://www.bigguysshootingsupplies.com/ 1416 N. Main Ste. 500 Pearland, TX 77581 281-731-4850 Hours: Wed - Fri 11-6 Sat - 9-5 https://www.google.com/maps/place/1416+N+Main+St,+Pearland,+TX+77581/@29.5857512,-95.2869124,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x86409135d4d3a03d:0xb730aa86fd4adb63 Does this count?
  9. I haven't seen any 231 in a year and a half. I just bought 2x 8lbers of Bullseye to get in line with my last 8# of 231 that I have.
  10. Thanks William. I just looked at Google Maps and its 170 miles from STL to Osage Beach (where'd I stay) and 177 from Kansas City so about the same. It looks like flights are about $150 cheaper into Kansas City. Probably will go that route.
  11. I had a Seekins on my 18" Nordic but it leaked. I talked with Mark about the Carbon Arms GB but I run Noveske NSR handguards the the Carbon Arms wouldn't fit under the low profile handguards. I ended up throwing a Syrac on it and it has been working fine. If you can fit a Carbon Arms, I would go that route, hands down. Nick
  12. Tempting. The drive from Houston shouldn't be too bad... It's worth it, one of THE BEST natural terrain matches in the country. Even better if the 3 guys from Deliverance, are still living there We will be picking the location for our stage at the match soon, got a lot of ideas , just need to pick which location works best with which plan. ours will definitely be shotgun heavy, or all shotgun, depending on the location. Alright I'm in! I dropped the check and registration in the mail today to JT! Is it better to fly into Kansas City or St. Louis?
  13. For my 3 gun pistol, I'm having a PT double stack 9mm built using a bushing barrel. Nick
  14. I picked up one of the big Hornady Hot Tubs off a prize table and it's pretty awesome. I've mainly used it for smaller parts and have yet to through in a complete upper but the bolts and carriers I've thrown in there, it does a really good job on the carbon. Nick
  15. Is the match still on? With all the rain I'm curious if the range is under water.
  16. I have had zero issues with my 40 round pmags with TTI extensions.
  17. How does 2200 compare to 2230? I've been using 2230 for years and only have about 10 lbs left. I've bought some H335 and H322 to suppliment for now but if 2200 is as good as 2230 I'd consider snagging some next time it pops up. Nick
  18. Thanks for that. I just ordered 100 of them for a fraction of the 3GN targets and shipping was only about $10. Will be great for practice!
  19. Mine do the same thing but have had zero problems with them for the past two years. I use the rattle to tell me when the mags are topped off! Nick
  20. More like if JD is going, I want to go! But sorry to disappoint JD, I have to bail on the match manana. My daughter came down with a bug today so I get to play projectile vomit catch tomorrow instead. Tear it up!
