  1. Potentially, but I haven’t had any rounds that wouldn’t chamber or that were hung up on the round itself. notionally I just tried a few of the empty magazines and locked the slide to the rear. When I went to use the slide stop/release it wouldn’t let the slide close, and only moved slightly. So it leads me to believe it’s the slide, slide stop, or magazine (affecting the slide stop).
  2. I ran my new rival s through about 600 rounds the other day. I would have intermittent lock back with rounds still in the magazine. I know I was not locking it back on my own because the slide stop itself was “dead” if that makes sense. I’d have to manipulate the slide to get it to chamber the next round. It was different magazines (6 in total) all with the factory spring, follower, and Taylor freelance basepads. I could run the same magazine again and go through the whole magazine without stoppages, so either the slide stop itself is out of spec or the magazines need work.
  3. I’ve got the romeo max in my Bul open gun and I haven’t had to replace it yet. I’ve got an sro on my carry Optics gun and I tend to like the dot on the sig better but the RMR/sro/Holosun footprint made it an easy choice for carry optics.
  4. I really like the Holosun 509t. CHPWS just came out with an MOS plate for it
  5. I had this on my 17/sro combo and swapping out the RSA seemed to do the trick. That said - anyone have an aftermarket RSA where you can just replace the spring or just buy a bunch of factory ones and toss the old one when you’re done?
  6. anyone else running Arredondo extensions not getting a lock back on empty? I’ve only noticed it with my Arredondo magazine combos, every other mag combo including magpul or factory lock back. I know - don’t run the gun dry- but I heard good things about Arredondo baseplates
  7. I’ve been going between the two triggers for my CO gun, but I’m not sure I want to plunk the money for both triggers. Sounds like it’s hard to go wrong either way
  8. The legion is a great out the box gun. I only sold mine to jump to limited, then bumped up to open. Now I’m looking for another CO gun to also use in some two gun/tactical games competition. If power factor stopped being a thing, I’d see no reason for open. good luck!
  9. I ran 124s or 115s. I didn’t have good experience with 147s or the 150 syntech (not sure anyone does?). I think I mostly ended up shooting 124 because of availability at the time, but they also ran and fed just fine. It was as accurate as I needed as well.
  10. I mean compared to some of the 2011s I see running around, it’s not like you’re in it for 4k in just the gun. Glocks can be cheap thrills if done right.
  11. I have shot a few guns in production and carry optics, and limited, metal framed and plastic. Looking back I could have saved myself some money shooting my Glock in production and shooting it again in carry optics. I really liked the S2, but I’m not a big fan of da/sa guns. Ended up selling it because of that, not because it was metal framed or that I would shoot my glocks different. Like I said the s2 is a great platform. If you have some inherent desire to shoot the Glock, then go for it. But either way, commit through the adjustment period of switching platforms
  12. The “return to zero” stuff never sat well with me. Guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Disappointing to hear for sure.
  13. Interesting. I’ve heard mostly good things about Atlas and their CS, more so than say Akai. I’ve been looking to get an open gun from them, but I guess I’ll keep looking
  14. I’ve shot the regular X5, the legion, tanfo, and glock with dots. I really didn’t like the regular x5, even though it was worked by Robert Burke. The Legion was nice and I should have held onto it, but thought I was moving up to open and sold it in the off-season. I still have my 34 and 17 with dots, and I can shoot them just fine. They just seem to take more effort to shoot as well (if that makes any sense). I shot Production with a Cajun shadow, and while it was a great gun, I never really messed with it. I tried a tanfo with a dot and I shot about as well as I did with my shadow, just okay. I’m back in the market for another legion, and would probably go with a romeo max or sro. I’ve shot DPP, sig romeos, RMRs, Holosun 507/508, SROs and I liked the SRO and romeo max the best so far.
  15. How’s it going! Checking in from southeastern NC. Been shooting USPSA for a little over two years and 3 gun for about a year. I shot production for a while and then moved to carry optics. Just trying to get out and enjoy the sport a little more this year, maybe move to limited or open by next year.
