  1. NH ? New Hampshire The Mothership Live Free or Die
  2. If the OP already has the larger lever, then someone like The Sig Armorer who can micro-weld, may be able to fabricate a true extended P320 Slide Catch Lever. Maybe there's an aftermarket extended lever, but I have not seen one. There was an early design that looks like it shortens reach some... Maybe the Mothership still has some around ?
  3. I don't think you'd come out on price once you add up all the parts that it takes to populate the FCU. A Red Box, I think is the most economical way to get into a P320.
  4. SIG has two profiles, one they call "extended". The larger of two works well on the X-grip. A Dimension: Regular Slide Catch: 0.25" Extended Slide Catch: 0.29" The extended slide catch lever sticks out 0.04" farther than the regular slide catch lever B Dimension: Regular Slide Catch: 0.12" Extended Slide Catch: 0.20" The extended slide catch lever has a 0.18" wider thumb lever C Dimension: Regular Slide Catch: 0.43" Extended Slide Catch: 0.47" The extended slide catch lever has a 0.04" longer thumb lever
  5. Bonus pic from another site where this same conversation is going on... In the pic, the mags on top are OEM 21's The lower row of mags are ACT-MAGs 1) Note the blued finish 2) These 17's are converted to 23rd using TTI +5 basepads and Grams spring and follower kits.
  6. Yes. One more time : The ACT-MAG "tube" has a standard flange at the base. Therefore any basepad in the P320 family an be fitted to the ACT-MAG tube. I have both Legion basepads and Gray Guns basepads on my ACT-MAG 17's I prefer the Gray Guns basepads over the Legion because : 1) The GG pad has a perfect 1/4" projection below the magwell funnel. The Legion basepad fits flush with magwell. 2) The GG basepad is a better looking basepad and they are less cost when buying several. GG basepad installed on X-Five grip module. Perfect projection. The divots are used for discreet marking of the mags when needed. Put some color in the divot for marking what load or whatever. Looks like that recess could take a label, as well. The GG pad is a little tougher to remove than some. I use a cut down chopstick for a non-marring punch and tap the button in with that.
  7. Henning does make the Legion basepads for SIG. I have the X-Five with magwell funnel and the 17rd round mags with Legion basepad flush out with the funnel as you know. I like some projection, therefore I prefer Gray Guns basepads which project about 1/4" below the funnel when installed on a 17rd mag. Better looking basepad too, the GG basepads. However, the SIG OEM 21rd mags are the mags that were designed for the the X-Five grip module. Buy a handful of those and you will be happy. If you are going to compete, then you will be using a special +4 or +5 basepad with the 17's
  8. Don't know about the Stoeger basepad, but the ACT-Mag's as shipped are reported to be working in X-frames without any modifications.
  9. I think that the best triggers (break quality) in "P320 World" are pistols with the FULL Gray Guns kit or a Robert Burke hand-tuned trigger system. Anything out of NH is a distant 3rd.
  10. I'll say it again.... Break quality happens at the striker lug/sear interface. You don't get that "magic break" from a P320 trigger alone. The P320 trigger is just a lever. Depending on the design, you can gain more or less leverage. The quality of the break happens at the striker lug/sear. When those two parts separate, that's your break. I was chasing "stacking" (creep) right after the "wall" on a P320F. I threw everything at it and reduced the creep but could not get rid of it completely. I was fortunate to be gifted a Gray Guns sear kit and the full spring kit. As soon as I put that Gray Guns sear in that pistol, the magic happened. No more creep. I can't say "glass rod break" but not too far away from that. The pistol now has the best striker-fired trigger that I have ever pulled. I used the light group of springs and pull weight is 2lbs measured with a Lyman digital.
  11. "I wasn't clear if GG or the other brands have a crisp break." Break quality happens at the striker lug/sear interface. I recommend the $149 kit from Gray Guns and you get the adjustable trigger plus a better assortment of springs than his cheaper kit.
  12. Let's get this thread back on track !
  13. Nice. You now have the best P320 slide. But no Legion Membership for you !
  14. You know that your spring is too long when you have to really push and hunt to get your slide locked back. For me, that is the driver on what is "too long". I got into a batch of springs that were made with too much wire (too long). The springs would "coil stack" right where you want to get the slide locked back. Standard 1911 Government springs from Taylor Tactical are my favorite. Nicely color-coded at the closed end and $5 a piece when you buy the 5 pack. And free shipping when using his Ebay storefront.
  15. Back in stock at the Mothership as I type this. https://www.sigsauer.com/store/xseries-optic-ready-slide-assembly-black-nitronr-4-7.html I've seen it labeled "Professional Series" elsewhere. A very good slide that solves the problems of the earlier slide.
  16. No. Your barrel is only .3 inches longer. P320 threaded barrels are much longer than that. And the 4.7" slide would match your dust cover length. I have an OEM length Faxon barrel in my 4.7" Pro slide. I wish the barrel was .3" longer (P320 OEM barrel length is a little short, IMO) Sort out the RSA situation before you buy. P320F and X-Five/Legion use different rods. You would probably have to purchase a P320F rod. I decided to fully populate my 2nd upper.
  17. I don't know why a 4.7" slide wouldn't work for you. I have this one as my "optic slide". It's cut for RM1P or DPP. OOS currently https://osagecountyguns.com/sig-sauer-8900142.html
  18. It looks like that SRO is deep into the ejection area. Other than that this might be an option for someone who wants to use an adapter plate. And it provides a dovetail to fix SIG's lacking of one on some models.
  19. So was this the $149 kit with the the over-travel adjustable trigger ?
  20. You can settle for an OK trigger and save a few bucks. If you want a truly great trigger, you have to "pay to play". Adding the Apex bar, just might get your pull weight where you want it, though.
  21. I believe that's a "pre-upgrade" part, before the Voluntary Upgrade. The videos by SSG (Sig Sauer Guy) are the best, being very clear and concise. The guy is a good teacher.
  22. I have the Keres adjustable trigger and Apex bar in what was a P320F. They do seem to play well together. So using current intel, if you replace your trigger bar, there should not be any issues since no Legion internal parts will be present except for the striker spring which has been reported to be "softer" than the standard spring. One of the armorers on here has reported that the "Legion Trigger Bar" is the same bar that is used in the external safety models. So there's that bit of intel. My trigger pulls at under 2lbs....it's about perfect for me and this range gun. What I have done : Keres adjustable trigger Apex trigger bar Gray Guns sear Gray Guns spring kit (using the lighter group of springs in the kit) Gray Guns safety lever pin Apex over-travel bushing (probably redundant but I left it in) The original P320F (of which not much is left) came to me pulling at 4lbs. So I had a remarkable trigger to begin with. Of all that "stuff" listed above, I would say that the real magic was in that Gray Guns sear. The "break quality" with that sear is unmatched by anything coming out of the Mothership (SIG NH). To get the GG sear and GG full spring kit, you have to buy the Hybrid Kit which is $149 The Gray Guns trigger in that kit is just over-travel adjustable. Who knows, that may be enough but I think it's pretty cool to able to dial in the take-up that I like. ETA: When I initially installed the Apex bar in what was a bone stock P320F pulling at 4lbs, the Apex bar dropped pull weight to 3lbs. Using a Lyman digital and average of 10 pulls.
  23. I agree. But when I say GG Trigger, I mean the full meal deal with adjustable trigger, GG sear and full spring kit. No Legion trigger is going to match that. The title of this thread and the first post probably sold some Legions for SIG.
  24. Some intel from another site... A Legion owner reports that his P320 X-Five Legion striker spring is softer than a standard P320 striker spring. When he swaps them back and forth he can feel that pull weight is less with the Legion spring.
