  1. Have you noticed a decline in participation in your area from competitors not having ammo>
  2. That would be an interesting one, may just Pew Pew Match.
  3. Want to shoot, but cannot get 9mm ammo and refuse to pay $28 for a box of 50 federal 115's. We cannot be the only ones in this situation.
  4. What would be a good name for a match that is setup like USPSA but is shot with rimfire?
  5. What do you think would be a good name for this type of match?
  6. No - you wouldn't shoot a USPSA type outlaw match with a .22lr? Or no, USPSA should not add it as a division.
  7. How about all of the current divisions? Do you think some should go?
  8. I enjoy shooting matches and getting more people involved in the sport. The divisions that I shoot are simply because of the gun I enjoy the most. When I was shooting carry optics I had a CZ Shadow, bought a shadow 2 but would have had to lighten the slide to make the weight requirement so I decided not to mill the Shadow 2. A year later they changed the rules to accommodate the new weight. Seems like they change the division yearly so I am just going to wait and see.
  9. I shot DA/SA Cz's in Carry Optics and really enjoyed it. I did not have trouble with the first DA shot with practice you don't even notice it.
  10. I shoot 9mm minor in my open gun. I purchase the cheapest 9mm ammo I can find and run it. I enjoy shooting open minor, Frame mounted optic, Magwell, High Capacity Mags, a gun that has little to no recoil. It is just a fun gun to shoot. Waiting for carry optics to change to "Open Minor"
  11. With the current ammo situation what are your thoughts on shooting USPSA type matches with .22lr? I started doing this at our local Thursday night matches, I call it Thursday Night Action Match since USPSA does not allow for .22lr. We follow USPSA rules and setup stages accordingly. These matches have been popular and are a blast to shoot. Would you shoot a match like this?
  12. Thanks for the info I am glad to hear that this method works.
  13. That is a nice looking blaster.
  14. Thanks, I will need to remeber this if I ever run into a problem.
  15. There is so much truth in your comments. I was disappointed when I bought my first $125 magazine that did not work. Seriously, $125 and it didn't work! I shoot small local matches and only shoot 9mm minor. I have shot 9mm major but I do not reload and ammo is expensive so I stick with minor. I enjoy working on and building my own guns, that is my draw to open.
  16. Shooting a first match with a PCC can be intimidating, just need to do as much home work as possible. Maneuvering the gun around walls and in ports is something that needs practice.
  17. Been there. I was told the trick to ordering a can or SBR was to purchase one every 3 months. That way once 1 arrived they all would come arriving after that. So I have 5 stamps, can’t afford multiple Honchos.
  18. When I do order one this wait time will be forever. Must be difficult to wait.
  19. During our Thursday night matches I always pick two people that come to the matches and train them how to RO a match. Being from a small town with local shooters I am 1 of 3 official RO’s in our entire club. If needed I will take the two people I have been training and have them run a squad. In there squad I put experienced people to keep issues to a minimum.
  20. Would like to see a picture. That’s about as close as a person can get to building one. I like to see when people work on things themselves.
