Pistol with optic ( this is heavy, since not milled and rear sight still in gun.) with long pad. is 43.5 ounces
and with short pad 43 ounces
long pad
short pad and you can see how the SP01 18rnd mag extends out the frame.
Here are a couple of 140mm solutions from CZC.
CZ 16 rnd magazine #11101 with long base pad #10213
CZ 18 rnd ( SP01) magazine #11152 with short pad #10187
CZ P09 19rnd magazine #11620 with extended pad #1001097
with spring and follower kit #10522
mags will hold 23 rounds
Couple of photos of the prototype
Frame will go to end of slide. Has flexibility to make compact model.
Frame take P09 and P07 mags. so higher capacity in 9mm and 40SW and keeping frame small for grip.
the top end on the full size is designed for a bull barrel, is cut for lo mount dovetail and front cross dovetail.
grips use 2 screw to keep from loosening and shifting.
Shadow with Optic and mag should come in right about 43 ounces and some change. unless you are running heavy grips, you should have no problem with weight.
I liked it.
it certainly isnt a CZ hammer pistol but it handling and shooting it, it didnt give me anything not to like about it.
The trigger was crisp for a striker gun. the trigger wasnt mushy. The sights are decent. I thought the grip texture was good ( it was sharp). the gun pointed just like my other CZs.
Got a quick chance to handle one.
texture on grip is nice. actually sticks in the hand. gun is very comfortable, points well, shooting is pretty easy. sights are standard 3 white dots.
sorry didn't measure trigger weight.
Supposed to be the black version, FDE and Suppressor Ready and .40SW versions too.
This is our 75 adjustable rear sight ( set ) http://czcustom.com/zdl-75-adjust-rear-front-sight.html
it is matched to 9.5mm tall front.
You can how shallow the P07/P09 dovetail is compared to the 75. kind of like the early P07 threaded barrel and LPA CZ used in the slide.
We do a tall sight for the BUIS sights. which is 10mm tall. http://czcustom.com/czc-buis-front-sight-fiber-opti.html
anyway..just some ideas.
we have a sight set for the 75 pistols. rear and front sight ( 9.5)
the P09 uses a front sight that only needs a set screw. we only are producing that in 5.5, 6.0, 6.5 and 7.0.
the 75 adjustable we have will sit a little high on the slide as the P07/P09 dovetail is shallow.
our sight is also sold as set, and the front sight included needs the front sight pin which the P07/P09 doesnt have.
sorry.
