I think most of the AR-9 receivers (upper/lower) are made by NFA, they just re-brand them when sold to their dealers. I bought one from a dealer in TX, it looks exactly the same as Bob's.

I couldn't find any topic regarding the legality of ZEV's Butterfly cut slide for Carry Optics. Is it legal or no bueno?

@ MemphisMechanic, are you using any magwell? If you do, does it fit okay? I have a Zev magwell (Brass) installed on my G35 but I have issues using a Dawson basepad. I believe I may have to alter the opening a little but to allow the mag to go in freely.

Would it be legal to use a Gen 4 mag release on a Gen 3 frame? I know you have to modify it a little bit to fit in correctly.

F! receivers are nice but they are heavy compared to 2A or Battle Arms or MAG tactical. Daniel Horner uses MAG tactical lower, I wonder how many rounds has it endured and if he ever run into any issues at all.

Hey guys, I've been on this forum for quite some time now. I've bought stuff from a lot peeps here. The experience so far so good :-). I figure to post on this page to properly say hello to all forum members. Planning on shooting USPSA, 3 gun, IDPA and steel. I want to try all four to see where I fit in. Although I like action shooting, I wouldn't mind other shooting disciplines just out of curiosity see how fun they are. I'm saving for 2011's down the road but for right now, I have Glocks to shoot with. I appreciate the fact there are lots of peeps out there willing to share info to others, to help them become better shooters as well as informative data in terms of what's good and bad out there. Thanks to all!

I have never seen one like that before, time to check the one's I collected before sorting them out per caliber.

Hopefully, the mods will fix it as this is a good place to get stuff not retail price.
