Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Good to hear they took care of you. They have the reputation for fixing problems so it's nice to hear it hasn't changed. I fell confident they'll take care of me when/if I have a problem!
  2. I have a CED Pocket Pro II and the only complaint I have about it would be the click when you push the button. If someone else is running the timer for you, you can hear it and the anticipation builds. The Pact Club III is quiet. But the click didn't bother me enough to return it.
  3. Look at the item description on the website. First item... Might be why this is a "Cabela's Exclusive." Well, the catalog I got in the mail a few days ago said it was an "exclusive." Maybe you're right about the price break being a special short-term deal with Sig. Includes ROMEO1 Mini Reflex Sight Modular design allows changes in caliber and grip size Three-point takedown safety system Interchangeable polymer grips Lightweight and durable polymer frame
  4. Just got a Cabela's Shooter catalog in the mail today. It has the 320 with the Romeo1 sight for $799. Interesting that the ad says it's a "Cabela's Exclusive." Has anyone seen these at another retailer?
  5. Here's another. Advanced Performance Shooting is a local maker here in Waynesville, MO. Great holsters and custom made for whatever you're carrying. If it's not on the list, contact them and they can probably make it up for you. I have two of their "Protective Services Elite" holsters and am very happy with them. They just launched a new appendix carry that's really nice. More of their stuff in the APS Amazon store. APS Holsters Protective Services ELROD, Appendix Inside The Waistband Rig(Black)
  6. I think this is a pretty standard set up with LED strips. Best thing I liked about DIY was being able to run the wires down through a hole under the press so they're out of the way and the table surface remains clean. Also, a little switch for a 1/4' opening is very convenient.
  7. I did the same thing. Found a pair of LED strips on sale in the auto section for $9, trimmed them and stuck them on. Since they're for a car, they're 12V. I found a 12V power supply for 50-cents at a thrift shop and wired it in. Added a $3 switch and it's all up and running. Total cost: $12.50
  8. Assuming you're Infantry....Lol. You all are great at your jobs. I've always had a deep admiration for the infantry having been raised by an Infantryman. And I'll bet the Infantry school is having a ball this year. I'm sure all the Infantryman will be bringing their big balls...including the Infantry-women whose balls are attached to their husbands. But I digress. Let's not derail this thread. I'm just trying to get the info out so my fellow MP, with and without balls, don't find out about this after the opportunity to order is gone.
  9. The US Army MP Corps is celebrating it's 75th Anniversary in September. There is a Facebook Page set up for a 75th Anniversary pistol with two different offerings. First is a Colt O1991 and the other will be a Sig P320 (still in the works.) Details are on the FB Page. If you're not there, pm me here and I can fill you in if you're interested. https://www.facebook.com/MP75pistol/ I want to make sure this gets passed along because I know not everyone is on Facebook. If you have heard of it, please reply to this post to let me know. I'm not sure what kind of reach the FB page is getting. There's nothing in this for me so please don't take this as some kind of advertisement. The pistol is being done through both manufactures' unit deployment programs which units used to commission commemorative firearms after their OIF/OEF rotations in the past years. (mods, if this is in the wrong place, please move it accordingly.)
  10. Pic is with with CFE Pistol at 5.4 gr. Bad pics...sorry. The Maxx case on the right has powder spilling over the step. I tried to tap and shake it down a bit but no go. It completely fills the volume below the inner rim. I'd be afraid to reload these even in a powder's mid range. Case on the left is non-stepped. I have about 30 of these if anyone wants to play with them. As of now, they're headed to the recycle bin. Or I could send them into FM for credit. lol And you'd have really consistent OALs!!
  11. Not sure what difference brass vs brass plated steel makes. Mind sharing? These cases are not magnetic.
  12. Found these in the mix after policing up my brass at the indoor range yesterday. Haven't seen any on here so I thought I'd share. These are 9mm MaxxTech cases with a step inside like I've never seen before. There's a FM stepped case in the mix on the photo so you can kinda see the difference (right side.) I threw one on the press and they won't even go into a resizing die so they're easy to find and little risk of one getting through. If one does, I imagine it would look way overcharged when you fill it. They're pretty solid too. Sounds more like a chunk of metal hitting the ground than an empty case. I compared weights and with a regular 9mm case coming in at around 60 gr, these puppies are tipping the scale at about 85 gr.
  13. Have you looked around for someone local who makes them? I had kydex holsters made for my 226 and 320 by a LGS and am very happy with them both. And for $40 too.
  14. That's a great picture! When was it taken? Early to mid-80s? I don't think much has changed here at Ft. Leonard Wood since then though. lol Still hot, humid and buggy!
