  1. Did anyone remove their DPP optic before sending in? It mentions that aftermarket accessories not made by Sig must be removed.
  2. I would imagine so as the real fix is pretty obvious. Congrats by the way!
  3. Ok, I will open up the parameters. Does anyone have a 9mm major island barrel blaster from Dan? If so how does it shoot?
  4. I called Sig yesterday. Got three things done in 5 minutes. They gave me my $200 rebate code, said that the Legion case and swag is still back ordered, and also gave me authorization and label to send it back in and have the barrel swapped out for a non LCI. He actually apologized that this was happening and said they are working on a better fix. Shipping it out tomorrow. One odd note is that they ask you to send back in the factory mags with the gun. Did anyone actually do that?
  5. I am having Dan make a new 9mm top end for a 38SC Bedell gun I picked up. Currently it’s a Schuemann Hybricomp island barrel gun and is very nice. The barrel I’m using is a new KKM hybrid barrel. Who has a 9mm shorty from Dan and if so what are the shooting characteristics? I’m coming from Hbar Limcats and like them a lot. This is a fun side project gun while waiting on my new Limcat to be done. Cheers

    Legion accuracy

I shot my legion today and X5 with the legion tungsten grip. The X5 was more accurate for sure. Legion wasn’t far off by any means but it was noticeable. This is using Precision Delta 124g reman ammo. Got home, switched my press over from 9mm major, and loaded up a bunch of Precision Delta 124g JHP over N320 to try next.
  7. I was able to shoot my Legion today as well as my X5 with heavy tungsten grip and Gray Guns trigger. They both pretty much feel the same when you hold them. The clock proves otherwise in regards to the triggers being similar. The Gray Guns trigger outperformed the Legion trigger in all areas. Doing bill drills I was able to do .13 splits with it. I could only do .15 with the legion trigger. The reset is so much better on the Gray Guns. I’m tempted to get another kit for the Legion.
  8. Entire gun. When I send mine it I’ll have all the mods off of it and no optic.
  9. I have a legion and a Frankenstein X5 “legion” with GG trigger that I’ll be testing back to back. The legion is actually pretty good and with use will only get better.

    P320 X5 Thread

On all my 2011 guns I have preferred a little wider front site and love the larger rod. A couple of my Limcats have the larger rod and it is so bright. Let us know if you get it sorted out.

I bet you could find one to fit. Maybe call Dave Dawson before you start drilling. I just checked mine and the site is wider but the fiber is the same size. The larger blob method has helped me but I mainly shoot outside.

Eric is correct. Didn’t think of that. A bigger flared blob on the end closest to your eye works well.

An X5 I picked up had a wider Dawson site with larger FO rod installed and I like it! Edit- site is wider but optic is the same. It has the larger blob method which threw me off.
  14. That’s great. Now you have me thinking of doing it. Can’t wait to see pics. Did you have to pay any shipping?
  15. I agree. It took me a couple hundred rounds to get used to the weight and the cycling of it but it is incredible. I’m working on my third Frankenstein Legion now.

I had a similar problem until I bought the Springer extended magazine release. The stock configuration makes you have to push pretty hard to get the button to work. Once you put the extended in you have to depress it much less abd the magazine will drop free without interference on the other side. At least that’s what has worked for me.
  18. The magwell with a steel grip certainly does not hurt the balance or the feel at all for me. That being said I believe that PT and Akai among others have picked up on this and made their own versions of this magwell. Should be more and more options out there all the time.
  19. This is good information. I used to have a ton of those STI magazines and I hate that I sold them. I hope you get things figured out my friend.
  20. That is what I thought. I will be shooting it this week to double check mine.
  21. It dropped right in and functions fine with hand cycling. Haven’t shot it yet and will confirm with the powers that be that it is ok to do so. Barrels look essentially identical with the naked eye. @alma any words to confirm or disapprove?
  22. My buddy is getting one for his. I think Springer sells them as semi fitted and should drop in with minimal work if any.
