  1. The rule book is their for the shooter and the range official. It’s a good idea if both read it. I’ve been hearing about the same situation happening at other matches with the head being slightly turned. Is there a significant advantage? Probably not. Is the RO being an ass? Probably. Would we be better off shooting something else like IDPA? Why hell no!!! So we just continue to show up and our part with hopes that it gets better one day
  2. Which one is having the least amount of cracked slides lately?
  3. Their website hasn’t been updated since dec2015 so I guess Facebook is the new connection.
  4. I’ve had that same issue shooting a glock so I took the dremel to the trigger guard and the problem was solved
  5. Do you shoot left handed or normal? Where is you left index finger riding?
  6. I’m very interested in more info on these magwells also
  7. One should automatically think not. If it says "engage targets from within the shooting area" and you take a shot with one foot in and the other out its a procedural per shot fired for a foot fault. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. No I did not. But now that I’ve read over all of it. The CR speed holster should work fine for your application. I will hit a buddy up that had one for the same setup that I’m sure he’s not using anymore. If he wants it gone I will pm you
  9. I also use eight of the racers on my belt with bullets pointing out. So far I really like them for the past six months I’ve been using them. But I will suggest putting loctite on all the screws because everything DAA makes needs that anyways
  10. Redeye tactical makes a kydex to fit your application
  11. When I first started shooting single stack major I was counting my shots. As time went on I got over that by carrying more mags and putting a fresh one in every time I moved. It’s like the entire match is Virginia count.
  12. Probably the easiest way to tell if it was intentional or not is, did the target need to be shot again. If not did this supposedly AD happen to improve his hits on said target. If not “sir I hate to inform you that you are done for the day”
  13. In that case he was definitely trying to unload the gun the correct way so it was an accidental discharge. With the golden rule of “don’t be a dick” always in play, it’s up to you to decide to DQ the guy or not. If it was me? Being a local lvl1 match I would have prolly let it slide. That is if they guy had been good squad mate all day. He would still receive a stern warning along with some help to prevent such actions in the future
  14. Was the magazine already removed from the gun?
  15. The ELS is wonderful for 3gun where you are constantly rearranging your belt for almost every state. And yes the Velcro on the back of your existing stuff works great aswell
  16. Shooting SS major is like shooting an entire Virginia count match. Some of us get used to it and like it though Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. I've played a good bit in the 22 distance game with a buddy. We shot just a 44mm vortex but the base and rings had 40MOA in them and that helps a bunch. Could dial it in at 365 with no hold over Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Slide lock in SS major isn’t always necessary but it has moments where it is very helpful as Robert pointed out. Even though one of the main goals is to try to avoid slide lock as much as possible. Which is why most of the SS shooters carry so many mags. It easily becomes a bad habit of when your feet move you mash the mag release
