The bolt not opening after last shot is a mismatch between short stroke JP system and the bolt of the Bul. JP solved this by adjusting the bolt in their JP so you can have short stroke and LRBO. If you keep the JP system and shoot factory change the buffer into some tungsten instead of steel, it slows the recoil (lets say 3 tungsten, 2 steel minimum). If it were my gun i would not bother and install blitzkrieg buffer, cheaper and much better then the Jp buffer. (much much better, and also dead silent). As for the stock, try the Ace stock (fixed one) most longer shooters love that one. You will need a space in the buffer tube since it is originally meant for a rifle instead of PCC (you van buy anywhere ask Sven 3gsports... it's even on their website). you can order them at 3gsports.de, huge improvement in recoil and shooting 2 A's as fast as you can pull the trigger. And since you're in Belgium: try Frontier 124,s at 28,7 mm with 4,1 grain RS12. That will make you smile at 135 PF

just another AR... buy the Kynshot / Blitzkrieg buffer if you want to improve it... read forum posts about it.

Yigal my friend, do you have any idea how fast it's getting ' bad' ? And is it an expensive part you think? Somehow I want to like the Alien but afraid of 'new' technology...

out of interest for those who already own a Redback: which bullets does it like (currently I use 147 plated in my Shadow 2...)

At least I learn what to train more then. PCC matches still rare in Europe. Next one will be June (if they proceed this year) the Xtreme Euro Open in Czech (if Max Leograndis participates again I drop to 60%

agree also the ammo does a lot (147's easier to track dot then lighter bullets for me..) I feel that if you shoot factory the Alien might be the better choice...

I had similar results with 147's going from my Shadow 2 to JP-15GMR... Although not that extreme. Finally I wenst for plated 124 RN (much flatter also) and changed powder from N320 to RS12 (which is just marginally slower). Now it is as it should the JP being faster then Shadow 2...

In the new JP bulletin they hope to start producing Q3.... I think we do not see them until 2022. And in Europe 2023...

Love the Alien. As soon as I have reports on longer term reliability I buy one.
