  1. not worth the effort for the occasional FTF.... what do you win 0,2 seconds?
  2. To put this thread on top again, wonder if someone has new information on the performance of the Brekke custom set-up?
  3. and then a bad lever makes sense!!
  4. Have 500 bullets trough it now. Initially the JP feels a bit harder in recoil now with the same ammo. And maybe dot bounces just that little bit more... But, dot comes right back. So I don't feel it is slower in shooting, anyway nothing I cannot solve with my grip. As for transitions it's a world of difference. The 'handling' is much, much better / faster now. Really happy with this direction! See how it turns out in a real match (when we ever have one again in Europe...). Regards, Henk
  5. E.g. that were 2 stages in Poland Xtreme...
  6. but with the ones which do you are faster with some starts mag placed / not loaded in IPSC!
  7. exactly the same as my smoke HG on my JP 14.5 barrel. Super. Think I wouldn't go any shorter then? Thank you again.
  8. Still have to shoot my 14.5 JP made lighter by removing the cooling vins + new smoke hand guard + lighter comp but... Wednesday I also shoot my friends 8 inch barrel (only) +6 inch Brekke custom comp. This one seems to be flat (with some remarkable 'snriping' noise due to the comp?...) I'll see and report back. Also about the JP changes I made. The Brekke stuff is now slowly available in Europe. Tempted to have a new build. We can order 10.5 barrel + 6 inch comp or 12.5 barrel with 4 inch comp as a choice. I already learned that the best buffer is possibly the Kynshot rb5020 short stroked with orange spring? True? I learned that 10.5 barrel seems optimum for 9 mm regarding a flat shooting rifle? .. True? If so my questions: - would the smoke hand guard coming with the 10.5 barrel + 6 inch comp be long enough to have a decent grip? (I am 6 ft / 1.80 meters) - what are the real differences of the 12.5 + 4 inch comp compared to the above? Normally I would test / hold / shoot both but I have to order in Germany (different country) and we are not allowed to cross the border... Any advise welcome! Many questions, hope someone can help me out. Thanks!
  9. Hello Eric, So far sights are not liked by me. What is a good (best) replacement?
  10. next week sunday i can shoot it, let you know!
  11. Tnx! Have a chance to shoot next week Sunday so in 10 days, will def report back!!!! Hope it works out fine. It def feels better already!
  12. I first shoot it then make adjustments. Sights I already considered (the factory sights just ahh suck).
  13. Bought a 45 since somehow I love it I am a regular CZ / Tango shooter. So, my first Glock. Will be using it for fun shooting / home defense. Any changes / upgrades recommended? Thank you!
  14. Today I got my JP back. Switched from the JP hand guard + cooling ribs to a Smoke Composites hand guard. Also installed a new comp. Lost weight lot's. Balance feels better, I can grip the rifle harder somehow due to Smoke's hand guard being smaller. Rifle was tested by one of the best PCC shooters in The Netherlands and he liked it so much he ordered a JP upper for his AR build. Just wanted to share. All clubs still officially closed due to Covid, keep you posted.
  15. 130 to 140 is in my eyes ideal with a preference for 124's in my JP max we shoot in competitions is maybe 40 yards (already seldom) so I zero'd at 18 yards...
  16. 1911 again you are too ambitious? some decennia I guess if ever
  17. So do I understand it correctly you shoot factory ammo? Asking since I consider changing to factory (move to smaller house) but really hesitate when I compare 147 at 132 PF in my Shadow 2 compared to factory Geco's... I feel extra recoil slows me down, Or is it just a matter of getting adjusted and should't I be worried?
