  1. That doesn't sound right. Shoot it during the match. Whatever you shoot should be the score sent in.
  2. I did notice a round moving forward and hanging on the feed ramp. The mag hangs up with ten rounds but drops free with nine. Don't think it will be a problem. Shouldn't be trying to dump a full mag in competition. I'm gonna check the width of the mags full and empty.
  3. ^^^ What he said. No reason to have to work on a brand new gun.
  4. Yes, they are 10 round. I talked to people at Tripp and Dawson before I ordered them.
  5. Bought a new Trojan in 40 S&W and six 10 round Tripp mags. When empty, the mags seat and release fine. When loaded with 5 or 6 rounds, the mag drops away freely. When loaded with 10 rounds, it's almost like the mouth of the mag stretches and it doesn't drop out freely. Is there something I can do to remedy this problem?
  6. After it is knocked down, no reshoot. Can't call for a calibration on a knocked down popper.
  7. My mistake. Went get the box out of the garage. It is a left handed holster.
  8. I converted mine to lefty. No drilling required. The instructions are included, You have to take it apart and put it back together left handed. When you are finished, the only difference is that the lock will be on the inside of the holster near your body. It's not a problem.
  9. Tried again and took my time. Was able to get 20 in the mag. It is 11 coil springs. Hope the springs loosed up a little. My thumbs hurt from loading four mags.
  10. I bought four new Dawson +1 baseplates and four new Grams springs and followers for my 2011. I cut two rings off the original mag springs and I was able to fit 18 40 S&W in the mag. Do I need to cut off the same amount from the new Grams springs as well? Without cutting, I'm only able to get 16 in the mag. If I put the old spring and follower in the mag with the Dawson baseplate, I can get 19. Don't want to cut new springs until I am sure that is what's needed.
  11. When I received my 650, I read the instructions and took my time setting it up. Worked correctly since. I have only called customer service once in five years. I was cleaning it and dropped a small piece on the garage floor. They sent me a new piece. And, of course, a few days after the new piece arrived, I found the dropped piece. I probably don't load as much as some, but why all the calls to customer service?
  12. I was an RO on stage 3. NO reshoots and no DQ's on stage 3. With all the rain, only one guy fell on his ass. Had just as good a time RO'ing Saturday and Sunday as I did shooting Thursday and Friday.
  13. What works best cash (for purchasing items to be sent) or is there a list of preferred items that may be a signature of this club, just tell us so we can do what is preferred. If you are asking about Blue Star Moms donations, toiletries, beef jerky, magazines, lip balm, anything someone might be able to use in a desert. And I bet they wouldn't turn down cash.
  14. Don't think the stages have been released yet. It's usually 315-325. Don't forget to bring a donation for the Blue Star Moms. When my son was deployed, he enjoyed receiving packages.
  15. To be clear, I didn't mean that you could change wads as you please to make up for different base wads. Always follow published load data.
  16. The base wad is different in hulls by different manufacturers. You can use the same data, but some hulls need a different wad to adjust for the difference in volume.
  17. And getting all wrapped up over something that didn't happen is also plain dumb. I assumed the op was talking about something that happened to him. We can "what if" this to death.
  18. It's not obvious. You were wanting to turn your feet toward a 45 and the RO wouldn't let you? That sucks.
  19. By the time a shooter enters the start area, it's too late to write a better stage description. I would shoot it like he wanted me too, and if I felt strongly enough that it was wrong, I would find a range master. If all it says is standing inside shooting area with heels on x's, you should be able to face any way you want. But, why would you want to face anything other than downrange?
  20. A simple fix would be for there to be better written stage briefings.
  21. Which model. I like the suede lining.
  22. What's the go-to holster for Single Stack?
  23. I'm in two leagues. I hate it when I need Seattle defense to have a big night, like maybe a pick six, to win in one league, but if it happens, I lose in the other league.
