  1. I tried it in my 627-8shot in .357. Just resized the 38 Super cases with a 357 die and loaded it as kframe mike. I loaded a 357 125grs RN bullet. The load was a SP2 Major load and worked quite good. But as I reached the same results with my shortened .38SPL cases, I stopped the try. DVC, Sascha
  2. fantastic.... sorry, nothing to say ontopic (except, that all my revos miss that thing, too), but I laughed so loud when I read this post, I thought, I should tell Waltermitty DVC, Sascha
  3. Welcome JFlowers, do you have a suitable holster for your wheelgun? If not, you can try a Safariland 002 for example. Not too expensive and for time to time revo-fun more than enough. But if you already have a tricked holster for your open blaster like a Rescomp or a Speedsec, you may also want to have a comparable for your revo. I can recommend Rescomp or Speedsec from my own experience for revos, too. And the most missing thing, you should have now is fun, fun, fun wheelgunnin! But be careful, to shoot with the wheelgunners - we are sometimes "different"..... Have fun, Sascha
  4. Thanks for sharing these details! That´s what I was looking for.... I´ve bought a used Gold Custom Eric some weeks ago and I have the same issue with the handle on the right interfering my left thumb with gun gripping weak hand. I already thought about bending the standard one, but didn´t head the heart to do it because of the fear of breaking the aluminium. Now, I`ll give it a try! One more question on the sidewinder - did it suit to the dovetail-cut of the Tanfoglio or did it need some fitting? Thanks, Sascha
  5. IGB Austria is making very high quality replacement barrels and comps for Gocks, CZs etc. - check their site don´t know, if they are available in USA DVC, Sascha
  6. Hey guys, does anybody know, if theres a possibility to get the S&W .38SuperAuto 8-shot cylinder as a spare part? If so, can anybody tell me the spare part number? thanks, Sascha
  7. Hi Randy, good to see, that you´re still alive! take care, Sascha
  8. I just mailed with Speedshooterspecialities and got the message, that it´s a 7-shot cylinder DVC, Sascha
  9. Ciao Luca, hi Spook, I hope, you are doing fine? that´s also what I´m wondering about... Hope to get some informations from ashman in a few days... best, Sascha
  10. ashman627, can you please share your experiences with this cylinder when you got it? I´m also very interested in such a part!! (and before I try to get one to germany, it could be helpful to know if the part is worth the efford.... ) Thanks in advance, Sascha (just coming back from a visit at "the dark side" - shot a match with my Glock 22 today because of missing Revo Div... It was "interesting".....)
  11. pezzente.... Just a few pictures: nothing better than real friends... the "Blues Mobile": Luca (Sensei) in Action: a REAL Wheelgunner: DVC! Sascha Unfortunately are the shoot-off videos to big for posting - maybe I´ll put them later on my page for download.
  12. COOL, Spook is back! Hey, how are you doing? I don´t know, how much I was asked in France, where this guy from the Nederlands is, shooting the fast Revo.... I have some other nice fotos of you too, Igor... I´m just uploading a complete album of the EC on my site.... Sascha
  13. Igor, very, very well done! Congrats also to Markus and Andrea and thank you all for a great match! Next time I will hurry up a little bit more.... I´d also like to congratulate Ricardo for his awesome Match win with more than 10%. Unbelievable! Jerry, take care...... best, Sascha
  14. I would also prefer the L-Frame 686 - in my opinion much easier to handle. OK, reloads need a little bit more attention then with a .45 625. But as you are experienced with speedloaders, I´m sure, if you machine your cylinder for clips and if you choose a RN-bullet and maybe shortened .38 SPL cases (or .38ShortColt), theres no big difference in reload speed. In my opinion, the kick of a major .38SPL with heavy bullets out of a 6" L-frame is easier to handle than a major .45 from a 5" 625. (just my 2 cent). Anyway, which gun you choose - Revo-IPSC is a big fun and be sure - even if everybody is kidding you - they have all big respect for the "reload-mania" and the needed precision of a IPSC match, shot with the revo! DVC, Sascha here´s a little reload-sequence from the last german nats: Pic 1 Pic 2 Pic 3 Pic 4 Pic 5 Pic 6 Pic 7 forgot - the Nill grips are a good choice! But as a release, I´d prefer the Houge/Merkle style release!
  15. Ciao Daniele, can you tell me, who you are interested in? I should know the most of them. Best, Sascha
  16. Patrick, unfortunately, Agnes switched to Open Division. She was tired of always beeing the only women shooting revolver. DVC! Sascha
  17. Results are online here at IPSC.de DVC! Sascha
  18. I think, I know which target you mean.... Stage 11? That was also one of my two Mickeys! But I dealed with it. I shot this stage high risk with only six shots for the two poppers and the two targets. No extra reload. A 32,23 sec was the result so the Mike was not too bad. I think, I can get the stage results - If so, I´ll post them on my site within the next few days (after the weekend - I have to work the next weekend, a customer has "going-live" - keep your fingers crossed, that everything works as desiged.... ) Best, Sascha
  19. Ciao Luca, thanks! It was a pleasure for us, having you and Igor at our match! It´s always nice to have some foreign shooters in the crowd (and if they are as competitive as you guys, its even more fun!). Not that I don´t like to shoot with all my german friends, but as I know them since a long time and have shoot with them a lot of matches, I like it very much, to meet new people at the matches! You are always welcome again! See you in France (with more time for a beer after the match ) , DVC! Sascha
  20. I own a Mini - the same electric system.... Mini owners here call it "Lucas - the King of Darkness" (the most parts a from this company "Lucas" I could tell a lot "funny" stories! DVC! Sascha Edit - ups, after reading the complete thread I saw that EricW was a lot faster with the Lucas story....
  21. oh no, I didn´t take my "equipment" with me ! (I know restrictive gun laws fom germany....) Maybe this sentence of me was misunderstandable - I meant, which activities I could pack in a one day schedule... DVC! Sascha
  22. unfortunately a little bit too late..... but I´ll keep this in mind for the next time! DVC! Sascha
