  1. It's on their website. The bridge for the trigger is too big to fit in the EPC-9. Some have modified it to fit using a belt sander. I'm thinking of going with the CMC trigger for my build.
  2. Had another one last night. Picked up a CZ Tactical Sport off of here in January and put 150 rounds through it, adjusted the trigger, and put it away. Last night the buzzer went off and several shots failed to reset the trigger. Took 1/2 turn out of pre and overtravel screws and all better. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  3. Mine was the extended slide release on my G17. More than once the first match, I activated it and locked the slide back while shooting. It was just a weeknight club match but it came right back off. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  4. Glad you're okay. Fix bayonets? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  5. I received the magwell and grips from aandabooks. Got them installed and what a difference. I'll be picking up a few Dremel items and taking my time blending the magwell to the frame, and polishing up the inside of the magwell. CZC was closed for SHOT so I'll be ordering extended basepads and fiber optic front sight this week.
  6. I believe there's a full setup for sale in the classifieds. I'm liking it so far. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  7. 10 would be the final goal just to reduce time loading mags during training. I'll get up to 5 to start but won't be sacrificing usability on the gun to have more magazines. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  8. Nice. I just joined the CZ club myself with the TSOs predecessor. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks to aandabooks I have a magwell and thin grips coming. I will be blending it once I get it installed. I will also be ordering the fiber optic front sight and extended basepads from czc here shortly and probably ordering a few magazines per paycheck until I get up to 10 or so. 10. Welcome. Orignially from GA myself. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  11. Put 150 rounds through her today. Observations: This thing is wicked accurate and doubles at 5 and 7 yards were quick and accurate but tracking the black sight in an indoor range was darn near impossible. The mag release is well checkered much to the dismay of the meaty part of my support hand during recoil. Overall, I think with a fiber optic front sight and maybe a different mag release it will be good enough for now but I'll probably just add extended basepads, a magwell, and lok grips while I'm at it. 12. I've been looking just about everywhere comparing. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

  14. I paid about half of what a TSO would be. Plan on adding a magwell, basepads, fiber optic front, and steel guide rod. CZ Custom is taking up a lot of my browser history.
  15. I've been shooting my G17 in limited basically since I started in USPSA and have dabbled in revolver. Found this for a good price locally and picked it up. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    TS to CM

    Looks very nice.
  17. I went 627 to try Revo. Only shot 1 steel match with it but I've carried it hiking, hunted with it, and it stays on the nightstand. I went 627 over 929 because if I decided not to shoot revo, a 9mm large framed revolver is useless to me. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  18. I got a speedbeez holster, TK moonclips, Starline Short Colt brass, and North Mountain moonclip holder. I run the same charge and powder for bullet weight as my 9mm and like that combo. In an N-Frame it just soaks up recoil. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  19. Sig 1911 C3 Compact -> G19 -> G17 <-> Smith 627. Started Single Stack, then went production with the Glock, now shooting Limited Minor. Have been delving into Revo because it's a fun challenge. Limited Minor sucks so I am currently looking to possibly sell my Anschutz and get something more suitable (TSO or Edge likely)
  20. I got one after leaving Weld County USPSA. No idea how much I've put through it but making a sure mess in the basement for the shopvac to pick up. Here are my initial pros and cons Pros: -Aesthetics and controls very similar to real steel. -Accurate, the thing hammers at short range. I haven't tested past 5 yards. -Cheap practice at home Cons I will list in order: - Doesn't fit in my Safariland Holster. The frame under the muzzle is taller and I suspect this is the culprit. It will get about halfway in but that's it. - Magazines are expensive ($45 each), but this will be offset. - Recoil, with correct form, there is very little muzzle rise. I expected this of course and will have to use live fire to confirm results. Overall I like it for general fun training as I'm fairly new in the sport but I doubt I'll be able to reach Airsoft Splits (.14-.16 Alphas) with Real Steel anytime soon. What I really want it to help me with is my draw to first shot. When I first got the gun I was around 1.8 draws but have gotten down to about 1.2 consistently. I use the Splits App on android to do my timing.
  21. I'll be around for a few more months. It's been a good few years here. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  22. I'm at least going to get a better holster and more moons so I can learn with somewhat proper equipment. I imagine that with some more time on the trigger and a proper zero, I will be on the heels of my production times in no time. It's all just front sight focus and squeeze.
  23. Firewood, Thanks for the advice. I am still looking at holster options. I think a DAA Racer or Race Master may come in the future but not now. The problem is that most 4" holsters are in IDPA Style. I don't think a 5" speed holster will fit my 4" gun. I could cut down the sight channel on an IDPA Holster to allow a faster draw as well and be on my own if it doesn't work. I may post a WTB ad as well. For moon clips, I'll probably order 50 and be done with it, then make dowel towers for an ammo can for storage once loaded and again when shot. I made a loader out of a piece of scrap 1x4, a piece of 1" aluminum flat bar, some bolts, and a washer with a flange bolt on top (~$15). I also made a demooner out of an 8" copper pressure chamber with a notch cut to engage the moon clip (~$5). Both work pretty slick. On the Glock, I have shot USPSA and have a Safariland holster I bought from Bruce Braxton (Braxton1) when he worked on my trigger. I have probably close to 10k rounds through it. Not much to most standards but much more experience with it. I will eventually get the smith slicked up but this isn't a dedicated competition gun. I bought it to shoot in competition with the ability to carry it on hunting/camping adventures and full power .357s. Again, thanks for the advice, I'm new to D/A Revolvers for competition and need all the help I can get.
  24. The 10/22 is the most modifiable rimfire rifle out there... and I'm a cheap SOB so if I already had the rifle, I would modify it to fit your liking.
  25. Edited, I wouldn't want to try that either. I've shot USPSA as well. Only local weeknight matches but it is a good time. Tried a 3-Gun match as well this spring but a hectic schedule and focus on High Power made that the only one.
