Didn't find this in a search. Is it normal for the SJC Titan to be shipped without any vertical ports machined? I ask because the one I received today does not and every picture I have ever seen of it shows 2. Is this something I need to have done myself? If so, what size? I sent an email to SJC asking the same question. Thought I'd ask around while waiting for a response.

Can't make it this year but, this is in my top 2 for next year. I've shot and been match director for a bunch of local matches. I hope to hit my first major next year. The natural terrain stages are a major draw for me and only 8 hours away... ...and falls right around my birthday.

Why not update the website?

It would be/ will be a 2 day, 10 stage match at minimum, follow in the same tradition as our major 3 gun match in the spring. Sorry, I should have re-read the first post. I'll keep watching for more info and put it on the shortlist for possible 2017 matches. I only have enough vacation time and money for 1 away match a year. Right now the 2017 shortlist consists of Blue Ridge 3 Gun, Fort Benning 3-Gun and possibly this one.

I don't care much about the prize table if it's a well run match with great stages. I'll drive 18-20 hours for a good match even with no hope of a turn at the prizes. It better be more than 1 day of shooting for that long of a drive.

I hoped to make the Pro-Am my 1 major match every year. Love the format. I have the vacation time scheduled. Vacation calendar is full. Still planning on going but, I'm already making alternate plans for next year. I'm a flea's breath from canceling this year. At this rate there will be no Pro-Am in a year or 2, if it even happens this year.

Color me intrigued (whatever that color is). My shoulder is saying "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" Must have Open Division (optics, speed-loaders/mags). I've seen a few tube fed only, no optics matches/side matches. 3 divisions? Open (optics, mags/speed-loaders) Tactical/Limited (autoloader, tube-fed, no speed-loaders, no optics) Pump-action/Heavy Metal (tube-fed, no speed-loaders, no optics. 12ga only?)

USPSA does Multigun, but they treat it like a redheaded step child. Rifle, shotgun and Multi-Gun are all run under the same rulebook.And, yes, it is treated like the redheaded, bastard, stepchild.

Federal Top Gun in my Stoeger 3000 and Mossberg 930 tactical division guns. Winchester AA Super Sport in my Vepr 12 Open gun.

Found the HCM and ordered 2 a couple hours ago. I have a couple 3-gun matches coming up and I want to play in Open division. I think we have a guy that shoots IDPA at our club that does Kydex work. I'm going to try to track him down and see what he can do.The 3 SGM 12 rounders I have seem to be working fine. I don't have a whole lot of rounds through them yet.

Are you guys using factory mags, Pro Mag or SGM? I just picked up my Vepr 12 this weekend and have 12 round SGMs. Not finding the HSGI Taco XL and the only open top Safariland 308 pouches I'm finding are their Ten-Speed line. I'm wondering how well they work with the ribs on the SGM mags.

They also said apps would be coming out in 3-4 weeks... That was 7 weeks ago.

+1DLC is very hard and durable. Only 3 microns thick so it can be applied after fitting your parts or to an existing gun. It takes on the finish level (polished, matte, satin) of the underlying surface. It's the same coating Surefire uses it on their suppressor adapter muzzle brakes and flash hiders.

About a month or so before Pro-Am I start shooting L-10 at local matches to get myself in the reloading rhythm. Last year I only dropped the hammer on an empty chamber once or twice during the entire match shooting both Limited and Open.

Mounts are different Vortex says the Razor uses the C-More pattern. The Viper and Venom use the Doctor/Fastfire pattern. The Arredondo mount (used on the pictured gun above) comes with an adapter plate for the Doctor/Fasfire pattern.

I tried searching but, maybe I didn't enter the right keywords. I have a friend that wants his melonited Springfield XDM slide refinished in another color. Is there a plating or coating process that can be done (hard chrome, DLC, titanium-nitride, etc.) on a melonited slide?
