  1. Thanks for the feedback everyone, I will try my current load and go from there based on the data above. I forgot to add in my op that I plan on using mine for outlaw steel matches, 2x4 division and plinking.
  2. I recently completed my PCC and wanted to start relaoding for it. I watched the video JP put out about squibs in PCC barrels and have a few questions. For starters my upper has a 10.5" barrel, can I use my satandard production load without the risk of squibs? My production load is a 125 gr SNS round nose over 3.7gr of Titegroup, and is around 130pf. I'm not against developing a load for my PCC but would like to keep it simple and only have 1 9mm load. I have Titegroup, Power Pistol, Unique and HS-6 available, also what bullet weight do you prefer and why? Thanks for any advice. Nathan
  3. http://ar15performance.com does make great barrels especially if you are looking for something besides a 223 for your ar. I went with a 18" Nordic and am very happy with it, it likes everyhing from light weight varmint bullets to 77gr SMK's.
  4. Well my mag block delivered yesterday, it took a total of 20 seconds to drop into my lower lol. I'm excited to finish this build and get it out on the range.
  5. I will, the plan is still to have a PSA upper and SB brace.
  6. I just ordered a ProMag block from optics planet. I read the reviews on OP and Midway and it everyone had good reviews. It has a LRBHO and takes colt pattern mags.
  7. I received the shipping notification Friday, my 320C should deliver Monday. Total time was 17 days.
  8. Looks like MidwayUSA is selling magblocks now from AR stoner, they have good reviews. I may go that route and a PSA 9mm build kit.
  9. My 320c was received on Friday, hoping for a quick turn around. I'm still on the fence about sending my full size in with GG trigger.
  10. I'm not sure I will need irons. I will use this gun for CO and local outlaw matches.
  11. I may pick up a used RMR in a trade, I was curious as to what I would cost a gunsmith to mill the slide so I don't have to use a dovetail adapter. Thanks Nathan
  12. My first progressive was a Hornady LNL AP and would say it falls in between a 550 and 650. It is a good press and changeovers are easy.
  13. Yeah they both seem to be around 200. I would like one that could be installed and taken out easily. That way I could use the same lower for a 300B.O shorty.
  14. I recently picked up a stripped lower for dirt cheap and was thinking of doing a 9mm pistol project. Probably a PSA 9mm upper. I am unsure of what to do about a mag block. I would like a a last round bolt hold open and the mags don't really matter to me colt or glock mags seem to be about the same price. Any info k. Mag block's is appreciated.
  15. I received info from sig to send my P320C in yesterday and will ship sometime this week. This gun has no aftermarket upgrades and i have had no issues with the trigger. Since registering for the upgrade I have picked up a full size 320 that I use for competition. I have not registered this gun for the upgrade yet. My full size came with a Grey Guns PELT trigger already installed. Per Sigs instructions aftermarket triggers need to be removed. Will my PELT trigger work in my full size after the upgrade?
  16. Well I FINALLY got to the range today and was able to test my new batch of reloads and magazines. The longer OAL ran just fine no fail to feeds. I do have one magazine that isn't 100%. I have marked it for training/practice now and will look into replacing the spring/follower or just replacing with a Wilson.
  17. I like the Vortex PST 1-4x really good quality glass for its price range. I haven't had any trouble with the zero wandering. My 3 gun rifle doubles as my varmint/pig gun and sees plenty of abuse in the field.
  18. I agree with Alaskapopo, I use royal purple 5w 30. It isn't the cheapest but a quart will last for years and years.
  19. Switching to a round nose or loading COAL SWC longer seems to be the solution. I am going to try to get to the range this week sometime. If my SWC load doesn't I will order some 230 round nose bullets.
  20. Thanks Texasref, my test load has about a thumbnail thickness out of the case. I will try and get these SWC to work, if not I will try some round nose.
  21. Thanks Rowdy, I will keep those in mind if the mags are the problem.
  22. Well i loaded a test batch loaded to 1.255. hopefully I can get to the range soon.
  23. Thanks J MIKE, I will make a test batch of longer COAL. It's not brand new the previous owner said he shot less than 50 rounds through it. I haven't tried any factory ammo yet just my reloads. The MecGar mags are brand new they have 1 range trip on them.
