    G37 for Spec Ops?

BTW-as far as loading the mags, adding an extended base pad is the ticket. Brownells has an Arredondo +3 base pad that works perfectly, making loading a breeze. Functions fine with the stock spring. They work fine with the +5 base pads too.

    G37 for Spec Ops?

I would have to say that these "agencies" have the best shooters in the world, so training is not the issue. They want to go back to a bigger (bigger is better?) bullet it sounds like. And even though we all love the 1911, it just doesn't pass their torture test, ie, dragging through the mud, sand, etc, etc.

    G37 for Spec Ops?

It was probably a magazine problem. When the G37 came out(and there are still many with the older mags on showroom floors at dealers throughout the U.S.), they had magazine/follower problems. Glock is well aware, and if you send them the older mags, they will send you new ones, well worth the postal to Smyrna, Ga. The new mag with the new followers are much, much better and from what I've seen, 100% reliable.

    G37 for Spec Ops?

Nope- I am re-reading the article again as I write. Of course, they are looking at other blasters, but they are impressed with the gun AND the caliber. BTW-this is a new article, just out.

    G37 for Spec Ops?

Just read and article in Spec Ops Technology (SOTECH), a PUBLIC periodical, that says they are looking at the G37 real hard. Some of their requirements are- the pistol must have a light rail (got one), be reliable (no brainer there), and size must fit everyone (bingo). They were very impressed with the size, and the fact that parts are interchangable with other Glocks (frame, trigger, etc, etc). Caliber was up in the air, but it sounds like they are leaning towards a .45.
  6. Bolt handle, check with Briley Mfg. Briley
  7. LIGHT coat of Rem Oil will do wonders on the mag tube. Lube it, it will be a happy blaster.
  8. I believe it is listed as their "lightweight" tube. But, it only holds 7 in the tube if I remember correctly.
  9. Absolutely-go with the Tactical blast in April, or May or March-what ever works for ya. As always-I am available as your slave again Obi Wan.
  10. I love the Browning's, but when it comes to pumps, (my He-man blaster)-my vote goes to the Rem 870, lot's of accs., simple action, easy to really smooth out, and foremost-Remington supports our sport!
  11. Since the Mk I was introduced, they have made an improvement on the mag tube system. The original tube was ceramic coated, while the new tube is anodized aluminum, which is much better. If you look at a used Mk I, find out what tube it has on.
  12. Kurt and Kelly- Howdy I never thought "unload and show clear" (read-speed UNload) was a timed event, but I gues I was wrong. As long as a shooter doesn't have to go prone after re-holstering a pistol (pointing back up range) it's all good!
  13. Browning Gold Dominator NPS- Enough said! LOL Remmies are fine, SX2's are fine, Benelli's are fine. Every gun has it's good and bad points about it. You need to find one that fits you. If the truth be known, every one of 'em out there will crater sooner or later, usually right in the middle of a match!
  14. OK, but does it have to be a single stack .45? What about Glocks?
  15. Yes, and the course of fire is full of shoot back pop up's!! Now, shut up and arm me!!!!!!
  16. Taran Butler uses one to whip everyone, just check out Front Sight magazine for pics over the last few months.

    Ejection Problems

You mentioned you are using the stock recoil spring. Going with a lighter (13lb) recoil spring will not only reduce muzzle flip and perceived recoil, but will change your ejection pattern.
  18. Maybe to much recoil spring. Read this- Spring Wars for Glocks
  19. I built it. I also opened up the top of the slide ala G34/35 style.
  20. Craig- email me at home. See below.
  21. Mark-thanks for the kind words. Mike.45- Yes grasshopper, but I can make them 100%. Besides, the one piece tube part is just way cool. No more screwing on extensions!
