  1. Heres one in the gun. And yes, I did fall off the face of the earth. J

    ebay

Yes it is sad about eBay. However, I understand why they do this. I dont blame them, I blame the lawyers that look for high dollar business that they can sue the pants off, blaming them for someone's death because a gun or a part or ammo was bought through them. It happens all the time around the U.S. involving other businesses. A sad state of affairs for us.
  3. Call the Minnesota number- Nordic Components
  4. And to add to the Benelli M2 20 ga. pictorial- I offer the Limited/Tactical version-24" barrel M2 w/ 6 round extension from Nordic Components. The extension matches the barrel perfectly. This is the slickest, fastest and (best looking IMHO) shotgun I have ever built. Recoil-ha! none, nada. Simple, yet elegant-incredibly effective. Oh damn I love this gun.
  5. Call Nordic Components, ask for Tim, and tell him you want the plus 6 tube for your Benelli M2. It is only 1/4 inch longer than your 24" barrel and the fit, function, price and asthestics are superior to anything out there. This will give you 9+1 overall but is perfectly legal in limited or other shotgun venues. Just load 8+1
  6. Or you could replace your 7 rnd factory tube with the 3 round factory tube that Brownells sells. That way you know everything will fit correctly with out cutting, filing, etc. The tube is threaded into the receiver and is not that difficult to remove if you use a heat gun to loosen up the factory "locktite".
  7. These guys normally have them in stock. Looks like they only have a lefty barrel right now. Barrel Exchange
  8. I just saw that SVL is coming out with a new recoil pad for the Comfort Tech stock for those that don't like the factory one. Limbsaver Pad for Benelli M2
  9. Go with the Benelli, either the M1 or M2, you will be happy. As far as percieved recoil, if you put a good (SVL) recoil pad on the M1 it feels no different than the M2 IMHO. Your mileage may vary, but not by enough to notice.
  10. Custom BPS with one piece mag tube, carbon fiber forearm brace, etc, etc. Built by yours truly.
  11. Of course, you could just buy my BPS!!!
  12. One stop shopping with Briley.com. Have them cut and choke your barrel to your requested length, and they make a great mag extension to.
  13. Remember that SVL makes the pad. As you cut the length down on the stock, the opening becomes smaller. You will have to cut down the portion of the pad that fits inside the stock. If you use a miter saw, use a block of 2x4 to set the stock off the miter fence, making sure the stock is straight for your cut. Use an 80 tooth or higher blade and feed slowly so you don't melt the plastic stock as it cuts. Use an exacto or other blade to trim off the internal excess. You will most likely have to cut back the pad screw attaching points on the inside of the stock, depending on how short you make it. When you remove insert material from the pad, make sure you do it from the bottom first, check for fit, etc, etc. A file, rasp or small belt sander is ideal for this procedure. BTW-old trick-when you take your recoil pad off using a phillips screwdriver, spray the screwdriver shaft with a very light oil, such as Rem oil, before you stick it in the recoil pad holes, that way you won't have any binding and the screwdriver will turn smoothly.
  14. Mike- The ProMag is a one ring mount. But the Weaver is very light and mounts tight and secure. ProMag mount Happy New Year back at ya!
  15. The Armalite mount is designed to put the scope on the same plane as the iron sights. ProMag makes a great aluminum and in-expensive forward rake mount that works great. Midway sells them.
  16. If you look real close at the pistons, you will notice that the bottom base ring threads into the piston. Browning/Win have a color code for their bases. Basically, it means that the thickness of the base that goes into the piston is a different thickness; i.e., different gas advantage. The spring itself is not different, it's just the amount of compression is has by the base ring thickness. Just spend the money and get you a Light Sporting Clays Piston if that's what you want. The standard piston will run fine with 3 Dram 1 1/8oz loads FWI. Just shoot the gun-it will run better.
  17. Don't take it apart. Wipe it clean, use carb cleaner if needed for really tough gunk, then relube, including the inside rings and outside ring. If it breaks, buy a new one.

    M2

Rich- If you never plan on leaving to go play outside the U.S., then 21. If you think you might travel a bit, go with the 24(some countries have a minimum length restriction).
  19. Amen, what you said. Everyone is running an optic, so maybe we can call it "nostalgia" class? Mike, since when is the M4 NOT a battle rifle?
  20. Please don't forget .45 GAP in heavy metal. Same ballistics (or better) than 45 ACP.
  21. From the dictionary- GOLF-A game played on a large outdoor course with a series of 9 or 18 holes spaced far apart, the object being to propel a small, hard ball with the use of various clubs into each hole with as few strokes as possible. intransitive verb- golfed, golf·ing, golfs To play this game
  22. I'm with Trapr-Shotgun match!! But Rifle only is most excellent too. What range are you looking to use Sam???
  23. Then why are they in the USPSA rule book?? Ahhh, never mind.
