  1. The triple threat passes at 85. Head coach, broadcaster and gaming icon.
  2. On my TSO 40 cal, I use the TF bases with the stock magwell. I have never had any fitment issues. I heard the same thing about the mags and just bought the TSO mags.
  3. Welcome. I have to agree with mlmiller1, as you make that Glock more and more “Competition ready”, prep yourself for the issues. I have had and currently have a 34 open gun that now runs flawlessly. But it didn’t just happen. Tons of work and troubleshooting with each little change. my suggestion would be to start with a full drop in trigger to get the bounce and springy feeling out of it. adding weight to it isn’t a bad idea, just do one thing at a time and shoot, shoot and shoot some more
  4. Well hey! Welcome. Where are you shooting?
  5. Welcome! IDPA is something I have never tried. IPSC and USPSA have always been my bag. I’m sure you will love the change
  6. Welcome, yes it is much different the the qual ranges. Safety first, practice and build that muscle memory with good habits. The speed will come, it’s a blast
  7. Recently doing some drills I started paying attention to my strong side thumb. I normally relax my strong thumb and apply some pressure with my weak hand. when I started adding more pressure with my strong hand the shots showed up horrible and spread way out on doubles
  8. I went a very similar path as yours. I have the TSO in 40 and ran 100 rounds through it and it’s been a paperweight since. I have been playing more with 9mm vs anything else.
  9. I too am glad you found your way back into the sport. I have been shooting with a club for a long while and mostly older gentlemen and have seen some that have now left us, that shot as long as they could. They had fun, whether running and gunning or at their own pace. I think the most important thing we do in this sport is welcome people and not exclude them.
  10. As a fellow lefty shooting a gen 4 with extended release, I use my middle finger with just a slight grip change. I practice a fair amount with single shot and mag change to try to build the muscle memory. I’ve never been one to swap mag release to thumb side, I think it would confuse me with the use of other guns.
  11. Yes, a clean reliable open gun is a blessing. Times past I have tried to skimp on some of the small things and it doesn’t pay off. Good ammo, clean gun and mags make for a happy match
  12. One of my local FFL’s think they are the only one. in the past, as soon as the tracking showed signed, you could head on down and snag your bounty. Now, they have to get it signed in and THEY will call you. 2 weeks later, still waiting. I WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN!
  13. Just got my M9a3, I need to see how it is after break in and possible use this write up. Thank you
  14. I’ve been away for a few years and getting back at it. Looking forward to learning what I have missed
  15. I also noticed the LnL has a tendency for the powder charge to twist and after a while, rise up when attempting to charge. If you don’t watch you could have several with no charge. I have found myself really tightening down the quick release in the body of the reloaded. Seems to work Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Had mine(TSO) for a month and a half and still breaking in. Round count at 300. Not shooting nearly as much as I want. I have had several 2011’s and I personally love this TSO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I have shot 2 matches. First one was at the end of May then two weeks ago. I’m not feeling much difference, but don’t see a drastic improvement. I was hoping for one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Welcome fellow Texan! Houston area here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Hello from another Texan here! What area? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Almost a month and the hand is doing good. Back near 100% until I started rough housing with my 16 year old, then I found my limit. Went and shot a match and did pretty good. Hand just gets tired feeling after a while. The incision is almost gone Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Right now “Hunters” on Prime is our go to. Awesome show. I heard there is controversy over it but I’m just enjoying the show. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. That is awesome. During my service, I cough ya ride on LST-1193, it was a newer version of that, but still an LST Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. We have made it through the 3 originals so far. I also remember the movie theater we went and saw it when originally released. Long gone now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
