  1. Sign in is not until tomorrow. See http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=186963&p=2096652
  2. Okay - I am not sure you can link to the clock on the page. The clock on the page is in sych with the US Naval Observatory/NIST time. See registration code page http://www.LChico5u.com/ar15-2.html and the time from USNO/NIST http://time.gov/widget.html Linda Chico
  3. I had planned to post hotel information today, but the contract that they sent me had the wrong dates on it. Sent it back for corrections & hope to post host hotel & additional options tomorrow.
  4. Should be able to post info about hotels on Monday. We are talking to hotels near exit 9 (Hwy 378) at I-77.
  5. Also shit canned the classifiers Not like it was a personal project for him. A5 is the committee chair and sent the message out. Don't shoot the messenger. He voted against the initial division change (as did I), but once it was passed by the majority of the BOD, he had a duty as committee chair to follow the majority and review which classifiers had to be removed. His committee was assigned a task by the entire BOD.
  6. The form is up & ready for practice NOW. The registration link you posted above will simply re-direct you to http://www.LChico5u.com/ar15-2.html. The test (practice) will stop at 6:30 PM Eastern on Monday February 17. You can still get on the page, but if you fill in your information and select "submit" between 6:30 PM and 9:30 PM the message will tell you that you submitted too early. As I said above: On February 17th, get to the webpage a few minutes early, so that you can fill in the information correctly, and only need to click on the "submit" button once the time is correct. The Rockcastle guys will need to let you know about any other events that week. I will have my hands full with this chore. 7. The 2014 Brownells – Rockcastle Pro Am 3 Gun Championship will be August 22nd through August 24th. It is a 3 day match for Pro shooters and a two day match for Amateurs. Signing up for the match is a 2 step process. First, you sign in to obtain a registration code. The sign in process (to get a registration code for the application) will be Monday, February 17th at 9:30 PM Eastern Time (8:30 PM Central, 7:30 PM Mountain & 6:30 PM Pacific). Then, you add that code to the top of a completed application and send it to Rockcastle with your entry fee. The TEST Sign in Before the REAL Sign in on February 17th, feel free to fill out the information (http://www.LChico5u.com/ar15-2.html) and click the submit button. The screen that appears when you successfully submit your information on the test screen will say: Added test entry for John Doe from 98.25.227.231 with verification number 139147538402.92 -- Thank you for participating in a test of the system. After 9:30 Eastern Time on February 17, 2014 you will get a message that you have successfully signed in for a Registration Code. Please note that the 2 numbers in this message are NOT the registration code. That will come in a separate email after the official sign in on February 17. I will clear any information at 6:30 pm Eastern Time on February 13th, so you can practice up until then, signing in. The REAL Sign in If you cannot personally be online at the designated time of February 17th, get someone else to complete the sign in for you. You can get shooting buddies to sign you in. You can have your child or spouse sign you in. There is no rule that you have to do it personally. If you plan to designate someone else to complete sign in, have them practice on the Test Sign In before the seventeenth of the month. Only the first sign-in will count, there is no need to continue once you get the message that your entry was added. Note that I will not accept any official sign-in on the on-line list before 9:30 PM Eastern Time on February 17, 2014. There is an official clock on the page. Don't hit the submit button on February 17th before 9:30:00 on the clock. This advance notice lets you look over the information early, get familiar with the process, so that you can you get a registration code on the 17th. We will not accept applications without a code. Please note that filling in the screen is NOT a speed event. Errors in the email address or phone number may make it impossible to reach you. Please make sure contact information is correct. On February 17th, get to the webpage a few minutes early, so that you can fill in the information correctly, and only need to click on the "submit" button once the time is correct. I will email you a code after you successfully submit the information to me after 9:30 PM February 17th. First, get into the match. Then send me your squad requests (by email, by phone, or scribbled on the application, etc). We DO NOT need applications in the same envelope. Do Not wait until you have all your friends together. I will honor your squadding requests. These are 2 separate matches held at the same time: Different number of days to shoot, different stages, and different prize tables. You are welcome to try and obtain a registration code for both matches, but you will have to decide on the application which match you prefer to shoot. There will be separate registration lists and separate waiting lists for the Pro & Am matches. If you are match staff – the registration code is RO. Once the application is available, you can submit an application using that code. You DO need to submit an application if you plan to work and shoot. If you are assuming you will be a sponsored shooter, check with your sponsor, to be sure they are already committed to sponsor the match. Several sponsors gave Rockcastle a commitment at the SHOT Show. In that case, you can skip the sign in process, and submit an application after it is available. Your registration code is the word “Sponsor” followed by the name of your Sponsor. Every year we get applications from shooters who claim sponsorship with companies that have not signed a contract with Rockcastle. In that case you STILL need to sign-in for a registration code. The details of how the sponsor covers your match fees will be negotiated between your sponsor and the folks at Rockcastle. At this time, we are still finalizing the match website and the application. I do not know what the match fees will be, but I expect them to be close to the amounts from last year ($250 for Pro and $125 for Am). The application will be on the updated match website before February 17th. Please email if you have any questions. 8. Where does it say that? I wondered when someone would find the secret page Give'em time guys. I bet all the details will be worked out soon enough. It is not a secret page - I am setting up my test pages. I assumed we would not have sign in on the weekend, especially the weekend of Valentines Day when many have plans with spouses or other important people (hence the Feb 17th date on my test page). But I have not run that by the Rockcastle guys yet. Look for email messages next Monday for anyone on my notification list (anyone who shot it last year, was on the waiting list, had to withdraw from the match or has sent me an email asking for early notification). Messages will also post on this forum, on the ARFCOM forum and the Rockcastle Facebook page.
  9. He didn't qualify? Blake is a defending champion from 2011. He gets an automatic slot: Defending divisional world champions from the last World Shoot are guaranteed a slot over and above slots allocated to their Region.

  11. Jesse, The email confirmation message I sent you on May 9th, with the subject line "Confirm FNH 3 Gun (PM-AM-PM)," starts with the text "I have received your application for the 2013 FNH USA 3 Gun Match on September 19-21 in Glengary WV. This message confirms your slot in the match for your first choice shooting time: Thursday afternoon, Friday morning & Saturday afternoon. Prepare for 9 challenging courses of fire. . . " Hope that clears up the times and days you are shooting. Linda Chico (L-2035) 2013 FNH USA 3 Gun Statistician

  16. The website appears to be in need of update. The rules that Springy refer to were sent th the RO's familiarization. I am the person who updates the website. No one has sent me new or revised rules. I'll be happy to put up new rules once I get them from either the Match Director or Range Master. At that time, I will also send an email message about updated rules to the registered shooters in the match. Linda Chico (L-2035) FNH USA 3 Gun Statistician
  17. The ceremony will be outside, under the tent. This time of year, it is hot and humid in Kentucky. Since some squads will shoot Sunday AM, I anticipate that most will be in the same attire they wore on the range. If the 2010 Pan American is any indication, the staff wore IROA shirts or NROI shirts, members of National Teams wore the team shirts, and other shooters wore appropriate, casual clothing. Remember - I am old AND old-fashioned. IPSC says the Match Director has the final say on appropriate attire. Just pretend you grandmom or mom is in charge of the dress code. . . 19. Send me an email to my off forum email (LChico@msn.com). Indicate that you want advance notice about the ARFCOM-Rockcastle match next year. You will get an email message from me in early February, about 2 weeks before the official scramble for a registration code. You will be able to "practice" on the form prior to the real sign in. And the official sign in is always in mid February. And if you live close enough to Rockcastle, consider coming to the match at least one day as a spectator this year. There are side matches you will be able to shoot, vendors, and a great shooting community that is always eager to talk about 3 gun. Linda Chico (L-2035) ARFCOM-Rockcastle Pro-Am Statistician
  20. If you are talking about the LoadTwo Belt by Chameleon, it is legal. Vests are not legal, but ammo carried at belt level is legal if it is in caddies or clips. Ruling from the Range Master: Yes, It is legal Rules 5.2.3 and 5.2.3.2 and 5.2.5 for Shotgun. Must be used at waist level ( The picture is ok ). No part of any cartridge is permitted to extend further than 75mm. Cartridges held in loops or clips on the belt are restricted to a maximum of 2 cartridges high No belt loop rule for shotgun ( 5.2.3). Jose Carlos Belino Linda Chico
  21. The thread with match information was started in late January, after the SHOT Show. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=167554 Linda Chico
  22. Confirmation messages went out to all applications with a postmark date of May 1st. And the match is FULL. Applications with a postmark date of May 2nd or later will get waiting list messages later this week. Linda Chico (L-2035) 2013 FNH USA 3 Gun Statistician
  23. Well if we are talking about the 2013 USPSA MG Nationals the shooter's labels have the shooter's name, their squad, their shooter # and their division. The labels with that info is standard practice in a lot of big matches. At the MG Nationals they were stuck on the top of each score sheets, the shooter's envelope and a yellow piece of paper saying "It's YOUR responsibility to correct this information. Check the label on this page. Make sure you are listed in the correct division: OPEN LIMITED...." That label is right in front of the RO with the clipboard. And every stage had an updated squad list that named the competitor's division, in cases where the competitor changed the division at registration. But, as I wrote on the yellow paper "It's YOUR responsibility to correct this information. . ." When every major Multigun match in the country runs using slightly different rules, and most rules can be changed at the whim of match administrators, it is inconceivable to me that any top shooter would not double check the rules regarding equipment. I love the shooters in this sport & there are so many I admire. It is incomprehensible that anyone would willfully accept an award they did not earn. I was counting on mature adults with integrity. Clearly, I'm too naive. Linda Chico
  24. Are you kidding? The MG proposed rules were posted on USPSA for comments nearly 8 months in 2012 - the BOD vote to adopt the rules was in December 2012. The rules in their current form were posted since early February 2013. Since the HM Limited rules NEVER allowed electronic optics in 2012 or earlier, there was no real change in that division. Does someone really need more than 90 days to figure that out? Linda Chico
