  1. My first was a Smith and Wesson mp15. I have tortured that rifle and it has held up. I paid about 650 for it. I just finished building one which isn't hard..I'm not gunsmith...and finished it with all the race goodies for under 1200$
  2. I'm thoroughly pleased with the accuracy of my Nordic Barrel. I shot this off the bench with American Eagle 55gr.
  3. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/2-DPBS-11 This is the one I have currently. I can feel weights in it..to remove the weights I need to knock out the roll pin at the bottom to remove the rubber end cap correct?
  4. The one I seen was close to 400..I looked again and seen they had some closer to 345..not bad I agree considering the extras
  5. I checked out that barrel and it looks great....that's just a big price tag.
  6. I had to tinker with the gas block. I didn't have it aligned properly and even at full open the bolt wouldn't lock back or eject the spent casing. Once I got it aligned the bolt would lock back at 3 1/2 turns out. I didn't do any grouping with it yet just functionality testing...hopefully I can finish fine tuning and sight the scope this weekend.
  7. Finally finished it after months of slowly gathering everything. It was built from Spikes tactical upper and lower Spikes LPK with jp low power springs 3.7# pull Nordic 18" barrel Nordic tactical Comp BCM Large latch charging handle Voodoo bcg Midwest Gen 2 key mod hand guard Ace stock with standard rifle length buffer and spring. Thank you to everyone on here that posted all the helpful info that guided me on my build.
  8. Disregard...I had the gas block turned the wrong way. I'll post pics when finished.
  9. If I line them up so air passes through the tip of the gas tube the part where the roll pin goes sticks way out of the gas block. Like in the pic
  10. If it's strictly for home defense I personally would buy the M3000 since you indicated semi action. They can be had for under 525.... but if there is a possibility of a pump you can't beat the 870 IMO for cost and reliability.
  11. Environmental Inspections for petroleum stations and OSHA certified chemical and hazmat clean up work.
  12. Order placed at 1130 am est time and shipping confirmation a little over a hour and a half later...Thanks Joe Bob's.
  13. You won't need them as long as you're installing a free float handguard. They're only used for something like a Milspec or a Magpul MOE handguard. The parts are the spring loaded ring that you have to pull/push down on to remove the panels from a non free float handguard. Thanks..it is a free float hand guard.
  14. Sorry for the newb question but what are these parts? The hand guard comes with a barrel nut so are these separate parts I'll have to order to install the barrel?
  15. Thank you all. I'm about to place a order to finish off my build and they had everything I needed.
  16. I'm not sure if this is the right place but I look all over the forum and couldn't find anything. I looked at their site and tthey have some decent deals...does anyone have any experience buying from them?? Is it a good place to buy from?
  17. I've been practicing load 2...my hands aren't big enough for quads much less 6.
  18. Thanks for the info...I really like the AP Customs handguard. The Midwest Gen 2 is attractive too though.
  19. I DVR and watch the show regularly. I too mainly watch for Pat's guns and gear of the pro's segment. I am still in the progress of getting everything to start shooting 3 gun so I do select what gear I select based on the show...with the exception of my pistol. I can't afford a STI.
  20. Thank you...I'm still a newb to the AR world. I have had a MP Sport for a year now but have no experience with the CF or other hand guards.
  21. The M3K isn't available for sale yet! The one's people see for sale are regular M3000.
