  1. The SNS NLG version can be loaded a little longer. I can go out to 1.16" max in all 3 of my CZs.
  2. Everyone has their favorite, preferred bullet. Shoot what you like.
  3. SNS 147gr NLG Coated flatpoint out to 1.15, no problem in my SP01 barrel. I load to 1.135 for great accuracy. Actually doesn't hit the lands until about 1.165. With the SNS 125 NLG Coated, 1.10 is about max from the same barrel but shoots great.
  4. I would think a NLG bullet having a greater bearing surface by not having grooves would be better. One more reason why I like the SNS brand although I know Bayou are outstanding bullets. Just guessing but I would expect at some point most coated makers will go grooveless as they replace molds. I have found your WSF to be a great choice for these bullets.
  5. FYI-Shot really well from STI Eagle. Very accurate. My son and I both had excellent results.
  6. Another WSF fan here. I have used it with the SNS 125gr lead coated NLG and it worked well.
  7. Loaded these last night. Took out my SP01 barrel to find my seating depth range. Found that I need 1.14" max with the RN profile to reliably fit the short CZ chamber. For 9mm, I load everything to shoot/fit in my CZs and find the end result shoots well in my Sig, HK, and STI.
  8. Have you had a chance to try these out yet? Have not. Just finished up my .45 loading and plan to convert back to 9 this weekend and load'em up.
  9. Received some today. Great looking bullet. As soon as I convert my Dillon back over to 9mm, I'll load some over my go-to for 147s WSF. From the way they look, expecting good results. Still think their bullets have the coolest color, plus they shoot well.
  10. Anyone tried these yet? Have been using their flat point for a while and really like it. Wondering about the ogive compared to other 147s on the market. Their 125s have to be seated deeper to fit my 9s which is one reason I went to the 147, well that and I just like 147s better. http://www.snscasting.com/new-9mm-147-grain-round-nose-coated-1000ct/
  11. About a year ago, I emailed Bayou regarding 147s for 9mm asking about different powders to try. Donnie said to be sure I gave WSF a shot with the 147. It has become my go-to bullet/powder combination for the 147 and I really like it.
  12. Well, they're still cool..
  13. Have seen quite a few AA7 containers in his videos.
  14. I had feeding issues with 200 gr H&G HiTek coated. I dropped my powder .5 gr and problem went away.
  15. How don you like the WSF with coated bullets? What is your load? 3.8gr@1.135 for 908FPS 20 shot avg. 133PF Love the WSF but want to find a Titegroup load since I have some that won't get used otherwise. Sounds like from what I have read, 3.0gr of Titegroup with this bullet is pretty popular. After I posted, realized I may have WSF highjacked the thread. Not what was originally asked. Sorry Raven.
  16. I use the SNS 147 coated NLG but I use WSF. Have some Titegroup that I might try sometime with this bullet and wondered if anyone notices more smoke with Titegroup than with other powders. Heard Titegroup burns pretty hot and curious how that affects Hi-Tek coated lead. BTW, 1.13" OAL with the SNS works great for me in all my 9s, including my shorter chamber CZs. Very good and accurate shooting bullet.
  17. SNS NLG coated 147s run great in my SP01 and P07. CZs liking lighter bullets for accuracy not the case with me. SNS 125s and 147s equally accurate. Also shot 100 Prec Delta FMJ 147s from my new P07 yesterday and they shot as accurate as anything else I have loaded.
  18. The 125s gave me OAL problems also which is one reason I landed on 147s. 1.11 with the 125s is about the max for most CZs.
  19. Now that I have learned how to load them, SNS coated/grooveless 200gr LSWC.
  20. VP45 startup would be a nice surprise. Walther just announced the PPQ45 so may be?
  21. SNS lead coated/grooveless 147 is my go-to for all of my 9s, including my SP01. Loads easy, shoots great over WSF.
  22. WSF works great with 147gr. Meters as good as any powder I've used. Have seen it available lately.
  23. What range of powder weight for WSF did you find accurate with the SNS 147 coated/grooveless bullet? 3.8gr for 908 Avg from a VP9 and a little lower velocity from a G-19 and P320C
  24. SNS 147 coated/grooveless lead is about as good as any I have loaded, over WSF.
