  1. How is the best way to get rid of trigger take up??? I have quite a bit and would like to get rid of some of it. I just played around with the sear spring, the left arm I bent alittle to lighten the pull and right arm to make the grip safety disengage easier and also put a lighter mainspring in the gun. I have about 2 3/4 lbs pull compared to the 4lb I was shooting. What do I need to watch for since I bent the left sear spring??? I know just put 1 or 2 in the mag starting out but anything else? 2. I just changed to riding the safety about a month ago. It was a very easy to get used it it and helped with my overall grip. Like the others said if your grips right it should be easy to do. Flyin40
  3. I checked the website and the only one they sell is a 15lb mainspring. It doesn't list anything in the specs. Flyin40
  4. Trying to figure out the poundage of the mainspring in my Edge before I replace it. Thks Flyin40
  5. Well I had to go sight in the gun for a NRA match tomorrow and didn't feel like driving 45minutes to the range. I went to an indoor range and it was horrible. Nothing wrong with the range, just being indoors. You know that feeling after leaving the range, nose full of that black smoke/residue, lungs feel tight. I only shot 30 rounds sighting in and some bullseye practice. I was in the range maybe 20 mins. 8-10 guys popping off rounds filled the air with smoke quick. Go with the private clubs, I can't imagine practicing weekly indoors. Flyin40
  6. A rim of a blown case....... Flyin40
  7. I was just messing around with it last night and after about 5 times it could take it off pretty smoothly with the weak hand. I like the strong hand though, just one less thing to screw up in the transfer and shot. Flyin40
  8. When does everyone take the safety off on a draw and transfer to weak hand. With strong hand or with the weak hand?? Flyin40
  9. I was born in 71 so I'm not even sure I was around when she did the pose. Flyin40
  10. I tried both ways, not trimming buff and trimming buff, no malfunctions either way for 300 rounds. I'll just use the trimmed one. Flyin40
  11. Video only plays the first 5 seconds,................. Flyin40
  12. It wouldn't surprise me if she came out and said she deserved it. If she did that people might actually start to think she might actually mean it when she said she was sorry. Long way from anyone forgiving her but taking spit in the face would be hard to do. Flyin40
  13. Same name but the Circleville version is so much more fun, dut.dut...dut Flyin40
  14. Go with the private range, you can learn more in a day on an outside range than a month at the indoor range. Even if you just go to the outdoor range 1 time a week and dry fire practice the other it will be better than practicing indoors. The club I go to is $150 for the yr but work days aren't a requirement but you get reduced fees if you do help out, I think its $50 a yr for so many pts/hrs worked. Does the club host matches??? If so you can usually get credit there helping out. The club I shoot at has everything already there except paper targets and a stapler. Steel, plate rack, target holders, chairs etc etc It all depends how strict they are about enforcing the weekends. Flyin40
  15. Here we go on the sister thing again Flyin40
  16. Yeah I noticed that too........just some shooters The video really lets you see how fast those swingers are really going Flyin40
  17. Is it possible to the a C-more lense replaced or do I just need to buy a new one. There are some scratches on it. I can see fine but when you add in the lense getting dirty from the comp and the scratches it gets tough to see well on a high round count stage. Flyin40
  18. What I like about USPSA Wouldn't it be nice to be a rookie shooter and have a chance to shoot with some top notch guys and gals including 3 Grandmasters. Wouldn't be nice to go to a match and shoot with a squad where ego's weren't an issue. Wouldn't be nice to shoot a match and have others shooters helping you out expecting nothing in return..... Wouldn't be nice to meet new people from several different states........ Wouldn't be nice to go to a 1st rate match and have all the above happen....... Well I had all the above happen today. I was able to shoot with some top notch talent today and met alot of new people. Picked up many tips and pointers, learned more in day than I know about USPSA shooting all together. Just wanted to thank all the people for a great time and one heck of a butt kickin. Also for some of those I shot with today... Wouldn't it be nice to have a match in West Virginia.... Wouldn't it be nice to drive more than 105mph.... Wouldn't be nice to have a clean Caddilac with no dust............ Wouldn't be nice not to have a sunburn...... Wouldn't be nice to have a C-more on that Glock....... And of course for me Wouldn't be nice to have no mikes or no shoots........ Flyin40
  19. 3 days, I didn't order directly from Beven. As soon as I can afford it I'm buying a couple tuned mags from him. Get a little more capacity. I was already placing an order for a bunch of other stuff and just put them in my order so I wouldn't have to pay the extra shipping. Flyin40
  20. My daughter was born on 4/2, she came alittle early. Everything went well. Just been busy though. I did manage to make match last weekend and I'll get to shoot again this weekend. I'm off 8 weeks from work so I'll have time to practice in between bottles and diapers. Still have yet to try the mount on the marvel. Flyin40
  21. I second this. Best cuts I have seen and great work. Flyin40
  22. How should the buff mate to the guide rod?? Should the buff match the bottom of the guide exactly. I'm talking about the curve and edges that rest on the barrel. I tried some Wilson buffs and they are quite abit larger than the guide rod end. Pics would be great. Thks Flyin40
  23. Mine love CCI blazers, Gotta love that $20/K. Flyin40
  24. I found shooting 500rds a week no problem. I'm not just slinging them downrange. I'll shoot 100 just on draws. All my 22 shooting is based off of drills. I have been slacking the last couple of weeks on dryfiring due to a new baby in the house. Haven't found the time to dryfire at all in the last 2 weeks. Flyin40
