  1. I was able to handle the P-01 in a gun shop Monday and at the half cock or whatever the position is called the DA was fine out of the box. Any upgrades are just gravy. Very nice gun. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk
  2. I prefer metal guns to polymer quite a bit. The P-01 and PCR look like they are going to take a trip to a CZ smith for a decent trigger. Has anyone tried the P-01 Omega in single action? The 75 Compact seems ideal but they are hard to find and a little too heavy. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk
  3. I honestly have not discussed price with him yet. I know to get this thickness required a different thickness of G10. I will inquire on pricing as Jayson will set that. I should've read this thread before buying my blue aluminum grips. I had no idea that they wouldn't have a palmswell. Way too thin for my big paws. I will be ordering the Lok grips you helped develop. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk

  5. I want to cut some coils off of the recoil spring on my FNH FNP 9L. The captured guide rod and spring are the same as the 40 caliber and over sprung. Thanks! Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk

I got the CZ SA Shadow for $850. Just needs grips, IDPA magwell, and base plates. The trigger needs no upgrades. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk
  7. You are correct. It has to come that way from the factory. Fortunately CZ Shadow series are factory. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk

    Heaviest 9mm for wife

I think that this could be simplified. Do you know what weight is too heavy for her? Also recoil perception can be subjective. Also what feels best to her so far? There is a point where weight makes a gun harder to move quickly and shoot with her non dominant hand. A lighter trigger can also help with less movement of the sights. Heavier bullet weight allow for less velocity and still make power factor and will be less snappy. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks for the input! I'm sure leaving the FPB in the gun is not going to make a big difference at my level of competition. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk
  10. I am considering buying a CZ 75 Compact. The steel frame model with the safety. I want to get a custom trigger job and night sights for dual roles of CCW and IDPA. I want to have the cocked and locked option. Would you guys consider a CZ 75 with the firing pin block removed safe for carry? I don't think it's an issue on 1911s. Many people carry series 70 1911s. Any advice on good upgrades? Thanks! Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk

    CZ armorers video?

Thanks for the tips! I have started disassembling parts with springs that launch in a bag if possible. I have gotten real good with my classic P Series Sigs but the CZ 75 design looks more challenging. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk

    CZ armorers video?

it's definitely not my picture. I took it from a CZ forum where there's a similar discussion Maybe the frame it's on is different. Some people even reduce the beaver tail but that seems excessive to me. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk

Oh okay then the IDPA box 8.75 so you still need to lose length. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk

    CZ armorers video?

I hope that this is the right place to ask. Where can I find an armorers video or instructions on how to modify CZs? Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk

Overall length is 10.47 inches. http://cz-usa.com/product/cz-75-ts-czechmate-9mm-black-2x20-rd-1x26-rd-mags/ IDPA box 8 3/4. That picture is a fake if it's a TS slide instead of a normal full size. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk

I just got a 75 Shadow SA for esp. I am going to put on the IDPA legal magwell and base pads. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk
  19. Bruce just let the cat out of the bag. It's a drop in kit that will work with a stock P320. No polishing necessary. Trigger weight around 4.5lbs. Time to buy the full size P320 9mm! Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk
  20. I have the kit with the Grayguns trigger, hammer, sear, safety and springs. It's much better than the P-SAIT trigger with factory parts.
  21. I don't have the D style. So it takes a bunch of parts to switch it over huh?
  22. I have seen some Grayguns teaser pics of P320 flat triggers. Since Bruce is now part of Sig R&D it's unsure which products will make it into a Factory P320 vs a Grayguns part. I know some of these upgrades are getting close to release and I am holding off on buying a P320 until I know if I need to buy a special RX model or if I can have what I want with a Grayguns kit and a stock P320. I am a big Grayguns and Sig fan and enjoy following Team Sig shooters like Alma. They are really rocking the P320 out there! Bruce is a real nice guy. I was having trouble shooting alphas using my non dominant hand with my P226 in local IDPA matches and he gave me a free action job. Just the kind of guy he is.
  23. The Grayguns P Series trigger kit does all of that. I'm not sure if it's legal for USPSA. You don't get as light of a trigger in DA or SA like a CZ or Tanfoglio but it's still amazing. It's too bad the P226 Legion SAO is too fat for the IDPA box.
  24. I am not sure. This is my first CZ. I just got the CZ 75 Shadow SA from CZ Custom.
