  1. I have never prepped a single action trigger such as a 1911 trigger but this one has the feel of the take up of a striker fired gun. It resets and then there's a bunch of over travel. Of course that doesn't change the fact that it's single action and should be left alone until I'm ready to fire. I'm just thinking if the long take up is gone it would be more like a 1911 and would be ready to go. I'm used to DA/SA triggers. I may just convert it into a DA/SA Shadow. 2. I saw that and will order it. Should I replace my trigger return spring? I like the feel of the factory SA trigger with the hook at the bottom. It looks like both CZCUSTOM and Cajun sell that version with a pre-travel adjustment. Is there any reason to consider the CZCUSTOM flat SA trigger? My current trigger has quite a bit of pre-travel and it's under spring tension so prepping the trigger is difficult with the light break. I don't want a ND and I am not comfortable prepping the current trigger.
  3. I was advised by a Grand Master to get my trigger prepped while the gun is cycling and and my sights are settling on the target. This is to get bad habits out of the way that newbie's can have for example pinning the trigger to the back. The problem I am having in training is that I have a single action trigger on my CZ 75 Shadow SA that has quite a bit of take up and the take up is under spring pressure making it risky to prep the trigger due to the possibility of a ND. I'm going to change the trigger to one where the take up can be adjusted out of the trigger. My question is what is the proper finger placement on a SA trigger after reset? I would think it would be touching and ready to pull with no pressure. Is that correct? I'm in the middle of changing platforms and want to train correctly and safely. Thanks!

  5. Which parts and tools do I need to install a CZCUSTOM SA trigger with pre-travel adjustments? Thanks! Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk
  6. I got to handle a regular P-01 and a 75 Omega and liked the P-01 trigger much better. As mentioned above the half cock position made the DA pull very good. Of course I went overboard and ordered one from Cajun with their Pro Package and night sights. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk

  8. I'm going to put a magwell on my CZ 75 Shadow and I wondered if there are any other options out there. Thanks! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. I handled one a top competitor uses and it was sweet. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk
  10. I see that one on CZCUSTOM site. I think that will be much easier than doing a major conversion. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk
  11. I re-read the IDPA rules and it said that in ESP I can start cocked and locked with a DA/SA CZ. So which double action hammer would you choose for a 75 Shadow and what is a T3 disco? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Cool thanks! I'm still learning about this platform. The reason I have a SAO is that in IDPA ESP I can start the stage in single action. I will get a SP-01 Shadow for DA/SA eventually. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk
  13. There is one screw in the trigger shoe. I see the flat trigger at CZCUSTOM says that one does both. Do you know what this screw does? Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk
  14. Like you I need to at least handle a gun before I buy it. If you have handled a CZ 75 the compact models have the same grip contours IMO. The P-01 has front and rear checkering like the SP-01.Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk Right now I am leaning towards the P-01 Omega!!!! Its just a pain in the ass to find one For sure! CZs are in huge demand. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk
  15. I think the CZ 75 B SA has the same flat trigger with an angled area on the bottom. I want to adjust some of the pre-travel out of it if that's possible. There is an adjustment screw in it but there's nothing in the manual about adjusting it. Thanks! Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk

  17. I called Cajun and put a down payment on a P-01 with the Pro Package. $950 for a customized killer carry gun is amazing. That's what I pay for a stock Sig. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk
  18. I called Cajun today and a really nice guy got me set up. I see that various hammer options are available. Any recommendations on the best one for a carry gun? I'm impressed with the P-01 out of the box so I imagine this one will be amazing. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk
  19. Which one would you choose and why? I plan on getting a trigger job such as the Cajun Gun Works defensive package. I do like the option of cocked and locked but I don't know much about the Omega trigger system as far as reliability and ability to customize. Thanks a bunch! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  21. I agree with that. I have XL hands but was disappointed that the other extended safeties are not compatible. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk
  22. I would upgrade to the CZ 75 Shadow SA. The trigger is insane. I shot a 3 round touching cluster at 15 yards without my prescription glasses and no vision of the hits. 3-4 lb trigger and it doesn't barely moves when fired. Only $850. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk

    Cz shadow 2

Do you know what the US price is going to start at? Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk

    CZ p-01

Great advice! Works on Sigs too. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk
  25. I have read about the P-02. Does it have the Omega trigger system or the standard CZ 75 DA/SA with safety? I am considering the P-01 Omega but I need to research the trigger first. Sent from my bunker in the desert using Tapatalk
