  1. So what does one do when they are squaded up, but no ones a certified RO? I understand that for local matches, certified RO's are not required. In these kind of situations though, are the persons that take timer expected to have a full knowledge of rule book? If a shooter thinks they got the call wrong, is it best to grab the MD everytime? Also, are certified R0's required to take the timer if they got the discount?
  2. when a course description is start n the surrender position, is this the same as hands above shoulders?
  3. that is correct. i always set my OAL with all the stations loaded. nothing nerve racking about it. just be careful and try to look at every case as you are putting a bullet on. I have loaded 10's of thousands of rounds on my LM and have had very few problems. there will be slight variation from each throw. +/- .1, well within the tolerance of most powder measures and scales. i would not worry about it. one thing is to avoid flake powders in it. Ball runs best I have found.
  4. Best thing you can do is to lube the cases. 9mm is a stubborn case to size many times. i bet if you lube the cases, most of your problems will disappear.
  5. in a local match. Many times the Ro's also play the other game as So's and get confused at the commands. I have noticed this every once in while. Are you ready and shooter ready interchange. in these kind of situations, should one speak up to the RO, or mind tongue?
  6. So the one the US get in 9mm is the mk7 and the rest of the world get the Mk12 in 9mm? I really want to get a x model though, but who knows when those will ever arrive
  7. Has anyone seen the new k100 with the new take down lever??? i notice that there seems to be a glock takedown lever in the web pix. i assume it replaces the need to pull down the trigger gaurd for takedown. is this correct? anyone handled it? is it availble in the US yet?
  8. i shoot Uspsa and IdPA on a regular basis. I rarely see anyone wearing camo pants or the like. many BDU style, but they are solid colors. long time ago I recall being told that camo and tactical stuff was frowned upon in these sports Any truth to this?
  9. i would make the OAL as long as it will work in your gun and bump the load.
  10. going to get a 2011 style gun for limited as soon as i have money. i usually load moly bullets in 9/40/45. So do these high dollar guns shoot moly bullets ok?
  11. 4.3 seems to be light load. i would kick it up a little and see if accuracy improves.
  12. I run my production holster in limited. I am thinking of getting a open front style, but they cost a lot and am not sure if the cost is worth the benefit. So am i at a disadvantage by not using one?
  13. i have had people make interesting remarks about my ammo. I tell them to put their money where their mouth is, and lets bet a steak dinner. I f does not make PF, i will buy and vice versa. so far all the persons i have challenged have not been willing to put their money down. Sound and recoil lie. A chrono does not.
  14. 4.4 with a bear creak moly 230gr gets me 169pf out of my mp45
