  1. Sweet, I am sending you a PM atlas
  2. I'm getting a Stock I this week to go with my Stock II, the adjustable rear sights and Dawson front sight on my stock II are great sights. Are those the sights you'd talking about atlas? Sent from my flux capacitor
  3. Thanks Nealio, I love my Stock II but finding another is almost impossible and a Stock I has presented itself to me and I simply can't think of a reason to let it go by and not get it as a backup production gun. The sights were the one thing I was unsure of but now I have an answer if I need to upgrade them. Thanks again Sent from my flux capacitor
  4. Does anyone have a Stock I and Stock II or has shot both as I am looking at the comparison on them. I know the Stock I does not have the full length dust cover and has the rounded trigger guard vs. the squared on the Stock II along with the sights are a little different. I thoroughly love my Stock II and I am looking for another Tanfo for a backup gun and finding another Stock II seems almost impossible. I wondered if the Stock I would be comparable enough to consider it a good backup gun if one was to come into my possession. Thanks in advance
  5. I did notice on the frame that's not mine he had this marking "CAT 14910" which mine doesn't, weird Sent from my flux capacitor
  6. So mine with the markings is an original all complete Tanfo Stock II if I'm assuming correctly? That's pretty cool if that's the case, not that I'm saying anything wrong with his, just cool Sent from my flux capacitor
  7. When my friend and I both purchased these 2 Tanfos a couple months back they were supposed to be identical Stock II's. Not that it matters as both run great but I noticed on mine that it had some different markings on the slide. In pics below mine is the one with black grips. In the first pic their is a mark of some kind located on the rear of the slide on the right side. Also mine has "Stock" engraved where my friends does not. Is there a difference in the pistols here? Just curious. Thanks in advance. Sent from my flux capacitor
  8. Well I shot the Oilfield Classic last week and I did better than my Alabama performance. Still much to work on but overall I did have improvements. Hopefully I can have an even better outing at the MS Classic in the coming weeks:-) Sent from my flux capacitor
  9. Yep. It makes going faster at matches tough sometimes but I'm determined to not let it hold me back to becoming a GM one day. It's amazing how you can learn to live with chronic pain, lol Sent from my flux capacitor
  10. After 3 surgeries, 6 screws, 2 rods and a cage, I try and get steroid injections in my back before majors simply because the traveling is what kills me. Unfortunately I wasn't able to this time so the 6+ hour drive to the Oilfield Classic tomorrow is gonna be rough. Course usually adrenaline kicks in match mornings and things are fine, usually, lol Sent from my flux capacitor
  11. Congrats on the Stock III. I wish I could find another Stock II or III to have a backup to my Stock II production gun, lol Sent from my flux capacitor
  12. I have a CED 7000 timer and it works well and many use this timer in the link below. http://www.benstoegerproshop.com/Competition-Electronics-Pocket-Pro-2-Shot-Timer-p/pocket-pro-2-blue.htm As far as training books and DVDs, I think you can't go wrong with any of these below, I own all of them. http://www.benstoegerproshop.com/Ben-Stoeger-Books-DVDs-s/1814.htm Sent from my flux capacitor
  13. Thanks for the input. I know I need to move much better but the 6 screws, 2 rods, and cage in my spine do not help but no excuse. I do see now watching film again about the zig zag action. I'm shooting oilfield classic this week and look to improve on my performance at Alabama Sent from my flux capacitor
  14. I used a small can of Miniwax Polyshades, classic black, gloss. One coat Sent from my flux capacitor
  15. Thank you for the trade! Feedback enough IMO! Thanks too, I went to black also with little work last night Sent from my flux capacitor
  16. Those black grips do look BOSS!!!! ;-) Sent from my flux capacitor
  17. Pretty much like the title says. I got a pair in trade from another member but I'd like to have more backups just cuz I'm OCD. PM me if anyone has any collecting dust. Sent from my flux capacitor
  18. Yea, I've been dry firing with it and came up with a monthly schedule consisting of a few drills 5 nights a week in different skill sets. I still suck but dry fire has definitely made a difference Sent from my flux capacitor
  19. In my Stock II the OAL I'm using right now is 1.120 and in my Glock 34 I ran 1.130. Both 147s. I loaded 135s for my 34 before switching to 147s at 1.130 with no problems, Tanfo barrel just a little tighter. I love the 147s Sent from my flux capacitor
  20. Thanks everyone for the input. I have 6 screws, 2 rods, and a cage in my back after 3 surgeries so I'm still trying to get moving faster after that but not an excuse. I've got to do everything faster. My next revolution in dry fire training started yesterday after arriving in the mail:-) Sent from my flux capacitor
  21. iMovie for the video and Imovie extras for the beginning and end, very easy to use Sent from my flux capacitor
  22. Thanks for the input Sent from my flux capacitor
  23. Yes, at that moment for some reason my brain thought going strong hand would help, lol. I nailed the landing like a Olympic skater though:-) Man that was fun match but I sucked it up Sent from my flux capacitor
  24. I just traded them for some other with another member, sorry Sent from my flux capacitor
