  1. You sound like you want a Tanfoglio and all I can say is you essentially cannot go wrong with any models almost. The Stock II and III are absolutely wonderful guns and I can't imagine you being disappointed and if you are you should not have a single issue selling it as they are in high demand. I was hoping the FFL was gonna have my Stock III today but the postal service sucks so maybe tomorrow
  2. Atlas, I will hopefully have a little time tonight and I'll take some pics and post on thread here for comparisons Sent from my flux capacitor
  3. Cool, I'm glad I've ordered a few extra parts of a little of everything. My SIII is arriving today. I have all the springs and polish points that I'll do. The only 2 things different from my Stock II are that I have an Eric hammer and firing pin in it and as far as spares go I have a Tanfo delta hammer and Henning XL firing pin. Will the delta hammer provide the same positive results the Eric hammer does in y'all's opinion or is the Eric hammer that much better than the rest? I guess the only real way is to try it out but just wondered if anyone has seen dramatic advances in their trigger jobs with it vs the delta hammer? Sent from my flux capacitor
  4. So what's the wait time for Torogi Inc. custom gunsmithing jobs for Stock III's? ;-) Sent from my flux capacitor
  5. I have a large frame Stock I in 9mm, stock II in 9mm large frame, and a Stock III coming tomorrow in .40 and they are all great pistols. I don't like the Stock I as much since doesn't have full dust cover but I think part of that is just I'm so used to shooting my Stock II. Probably will sell my Stock I in coming months and look for either another Stock III or a Limited. Again, the stock I is a great gun and is good for production but just personal preference. 6. Yes, I'd start with whatever you can find and narrow from there but I'm afraid it'll be a short list. Sent from my flux capacitor
  7. I felt like I hit the lotto today with these little 2 pounds. Shipping and hazmat fee eats you up on such a small order but $22.99 per pound was not that bad all things considered.
  8. My Stock III should arrive next week and I got my Dillon conversion kit setup today. I'll be running 155 grain bayou bullets and going to try an OAL of 1.135 and thinking 3.6-3.8 grains of titegroup and see how that chronos to make minor PF. I have only a couple of K40 mags and I believe 1.145 was the OAL max so we'll see. Has anyone got any updates on their minor testing for .40 especially out of a Stock III? Sent from my flux capacitor
  9. I want a Lim Pro and a Limited to go with my Stock 1, 2, & 3:-) Sent from my flux capacitor
  10. Anyone have any load data for using 140 or 155 Bayou Bullets in a Stock III? I have titegroup I use presently for 9mm but I'd like to save that so can anyone share any powder options and what OAL's they are using? Thanks in advance Sent from my flux capacitor
  11. This may be a dumb question but could one swap the internals of a large frame Stock II into a Stock III? I have a Stock II in 9mm that I've had a trigger job done on. I have a Stock III in large frame also that I will shoot .40 minor out of. Hypothetically could I put the trigger, sear, etc from my II into my III until I am able to get a trigger job done on it? Chances are I will just stick with the 9mm Stock II as is until then but just curious if that is possible? Sent from my flux capacitor
  12. I am looking forward to testing my Stock III using minor .40 and see how it shoots. Sent from my flux capacitor
  13. Thanks for the input Jim. I have already made a deal and being that Stock anything in 9mm seems impossible I'm looking forward to this stock III. I just am not liking the weight of my Stock I vs II, feels too light, the Limited was a good feeling gun. Sent from my flux capacitor
  14. Stock II in production with Stock I as a backup. I've heard that .40 minor shoots softer than I would've thought so I think there is much that can be done with just one gun. Plus I have a Tanfo addiction I think too:-) Sent from my flux capacitor
  15. BOOM Sent from my flux capacitor
  16. Thanks atlas, that's exactly what I was needing to know;-) Sent from my flux capacitor
  17. I have a Stock I and Stock II in 9mm right now. I am wanting another tanfo because they are addictive and I have a choice between a Limited in 9mm or a Stock III in .40 caliber. I really love the Stock II platform and have heard the Stock III is just as great. So wondering would going with a Stock III in .40 for a Limited division gun would be wise or going with a Tanfo Limited loading 9mm major would be a better option or if one can't go wrong either route. Hope that makes sense.
  18. I know many of the resident gurus on the forum have more knowledge and experience with different Tanfo models. How would a Stock III in .40 stack up with a Limited in 9mm for USPSA Limited division? I only shoot production now and I guess one could load .40 minor if wanted but want a gun for Limited in future. Could load 9mm major out of a Tanfo Limited as well also. Does anyone have input on using a Stock III in .40 for Limited? Thanks in advance Sent from my flux capacitor
  19. Thanks for the update, maybe we will see these in the United States this decade.
  20. This would have filled up just as fast regardless of the day or time registration opened. The Gator and MS Classic seem to always fill up fast. Just shows how good of a match the crew down here put on year in year out Sent from my flux capacitor
  21. Yep, it's worth it. All one had to do was subscribe to this thread and a notification would have popped up. I can't wait, going to be an awesome weekend Sent from my flux capacitor
  22. Filled up in like 2 hours, 200 spots. I think it shows just how great this match is Sent from my flux capacitor
  23. It wouldn't surprise me this fills up in a day or two Sent from my flux capacitor
  24. Henning's assemble and disassemble vids are very good. I was in the same boat not long ago. Also the resident intellects on this forum ie atlas and nealio are most helpful Sent from my flux capacitor
