Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. nice job Dave. Had a good time hanging out with the super squad for the weekend. Max, Blake and myself had to leave before the awards were over, we had flights to catch.
  2. I built Max Michel's open steel gun and it's single stack 38supercomp with a Schuemann 5.5" threaded ultimatch bull barrel(fluted to reduce weight) with my own 2 port titanium comp, 17# main spring, and it runs 130 pf ammo on a 5# wolff recoil spring. Also the slide has quite a bit of lightening on it but not as much as some steel gun slides I've seen. I don't suggest clipping coils off of recoil springs or main springs. I believe you can hurt the reliability of a minor pf gun by lightening the slide too much. There are other factors that will contribute to making the gun run properly but maybe these specs will help get to the problem.
  3. I built the gun that Max is shooting and I also built the gun he won the recent steel challenge with. I also met with Sig reps not too long ago about working with them and Max on some possible future ideas. They're a great group of people to deal with and they've picked the right guy,Max Michel, to represent them.
  4. Congrats Max on that great comeback, I'll keep buildin' em and you keep shootin' em !!! what a team. My buddies Clint Upchurch or as I call him "Cletus" and his twin retarded brother John Guida also laying the smack down and thanks to all you shooters out there making me look good!! Nice job there my stepson Matt Cheely, where's them pics you promised me from your trip to my place, you think I forgot them!
  5. call me if you're not in a big hurry and I can fit it for you.
  6. yes, the .355" will work fine, I thought I sent an answer to that one already
  7. that's correct Matt and your reaction time did get better with each pass If you would have taken that big ass trunk off the back you would have reduced your drag by 50%!!!
  8. yes, a shot of nitrous for the driver and one for the bike I can race much more relaxed!
  9. Gloria, I apologize, I did see the beautiful ring and I know it's "fiance" not "girlfriend", I won't let it happen again. Supermoto, that's a great story. Did the mother explain to the daughter that deer hunting keeps mommy from having to make more trips to the grocery store, it's backstraps for dinner tonight kids!!! Dave, you're absoultely right with your post.
  10. yes, life's good, even better after last night. Last night my wife and I and Matt & Gloria rode the bikes over to the local dragstrip for their weekly cruise night and taught Matt the finer points of dragracing when my 800 pound cruiser beat up on his crotch rocket but he didn't do too bad for his first time drag racing. We do have pics of that too and Matt will post them, it's easy to tell the bikes apart, mine's the one in front. Oh, I forgot to mention I was racing him with my nitrous bike, that's fair isn't it?
  11. the bow is a Hoyt 38 Ultra 70# and the strings I have custom made by my bowtech at Alabama Archery here in New York. Yes, more chrome, then it would take 4 hours to clean the bike instead of 3 hours thanks for the tip Lynn!!
  12. Matt Cheely and his girlfriend Gloria spent the last few days at my place and he took some great pics of me shooting my bow and trying to catch the arrow in flight He also took some great pics of my Rune. After seeing these pics he took with his camera I realized my camera sucks!
  13. The nitrous is for the driver not the motorcycle. I was working on guns and the wheelies were only during my lunch break. I'm not sure how much longer my front forks will take the beating, 800 pound bikes aren't made for that but it sure is fun!
