  1. Absolutely. I'm right there with you. But if that were the case, ACLU would argue that this poor pump in jail would have no way to afford to sue Nike when he has been victimized by them.
  2. I don't blame the idiot pimp for trying. Idiots try stupid crap all the time. I blame the idiot attorney who took the case and the idiot judge that did not dismiss the case. What is our Country turning into?! http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/01/12/convicted-oregon-pimp-sues-nike-over-lack-shoe-warning-label/?intcmp=latestnews
  3. Agree with Dan. Spend the money / save the headaches / buy a new barrel or have chokes installed.
  4. Thanks KT. I found it odd that there were only 2 reviews posted as well. Anyone else?
  5. I always assume the "rule of 3" applies to used guns. That way I won't be disappointed when I get/see it.
  6. Who has experience with DRS .223 ammo? Decent pricing on the interweb, but wondering if people have had bad experiences.
  7. I would end up breaking something like that off in less than 3 stages.
  8. It's 8:30 am and I am in my kitchen having coffee. I normally carry one on me, but I feel safe enough with the butcher block 15 feet away.
  9. I have an SLP Mark 1, and I shoot 2-3/4 dram, 1-1/8 ounce loads. Typically shoot the Federals from WM, but have also had good luck with Estate. My gun hates the 1600 fps, 1 ounce slugs. I need to find some 1400 fps, 1 oz to try. Managed recoil buckshot is not potent enough to cycle reliably. Hope this helps.
  10. I have a 32 inch waist as well, and to get to your "oh $#!t" mag you will have to reach around to the small of your back. I use Uncle Mike's kydex pouches and they work fine. I'm not going to rave about them or anything, but they do the job. Mags are close enough together, while maintaining enough separation to grab them individually. If I am not careful though I can fling an adjacent mag out accidentally. My fault though - not the pouches.
  11. IK. Sorry. I just wish I had known about the possibility of going this route before I bought my Shadow from the CZ custom shop. Could have saved a few coins. I also waited a couple of years to save up the money when I could have been shooting it the whole time.
  12. Only need about $650 for a new SP01: http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/21613 Get on a waiting list now. It will be here before you know it. After a year or so send it to Matt to trick it out. A new Glock 34 or XD 5.25 cost the same or more. Trust me- you will not regret it.
  13. As long as you are enjoying yourself - you are doing fine. With that said...the guys who want to be at the top of their game stick with one pistol. I only shoot 2 divisions - SS and Prod, and I mix it up. If I were to stick with one or the other for a year at a time I would likely move up a classification. Variety is the spice of life though. Shoot what makes you smile that day.
  14. OK - I'm in, please add me to Production and SS (if 2 divisions are allowed). TY69326. For me to get from low B to A it will be more of a marathon than a race though.
  15. I still think the plan I laid out with for you with the CZ would serve you better in the long run, but if you enjoy shooting plastic fantastic, and shoot it well, then stick with it. Personally, I prefer holding a heavy chunk of steel when shooting, but to each his own.
  16. Shoot a match in the cold rain or deer hunt in a box stand? Can't decide.

  17. Wal Mart typically carries two styles of Wrangler cargo pants. One made of a soft cotton fabric, and one made of rip stop cotton. Try the rip stop version. I find they are not as baggy as many out there. Can't beat them for under 20 bucks either.
  18. My own concoction of 70% Mobil 1 10w-30, 25% Mobil 1 synthetic ATF, and 5% Hoppes #9. Love it!
  19. Since you are set up to shoot/reload 9mm, and you are new to the sport, I would consider shooting Production division for a while. You could get a CZ75 SP-01 (non-custom version) for now. MSRP is $660. Shoot it for a while until you save up another $300 or so and then send it off to Matt Mink for the works. At that point you will have (arguably) the best Production division pistol out there.
  20. Getting fired up!!! 30% chance of rain on Sat - nothing out of the norm for 3-gun. Low 40's in the mornings & highs just shy of 70.
  21. Looks like it may be a rain out for our local USPSA match tomorrow - sux

  22. I am using a Bladetech DOH, and while I have never had my gun come out while moving, sometimes I think it it only a matter of time. I like the way the Blackhawk CQC Serpa works and am thinking about buying one to try.
