Hi, Im new…and I'm A6810
They say everyone has 15 minutes of fame, obviously some more that others, but my 15 felt like the perfect match. It was happening in slow motion, seeing the front sight at every A zone like it was 2 feet tall. Transitions were as smooth, so smooth like if the gun was moving on linear rails. The second shots felt as if there was no recoil, muzzle flip or slide movement, two A’s, two A’s two A’s…
It was early 1989 and I wash in my 15 minutes of fame match, which lead to a state and sectional championship, it was a hell of a day, a day of days.
I competed in USPSA in the mid to late ’80, acquiring master level before take a break from the sport/hobby of practical shooting,
I took a 23 year break, now I’m back and yearning for another 15 minutes or even 30.
Practical shooting is one of those things that gets under your skin, and like riding a bike, once learned, is never forgotten.
I re-established my USPSA membership this November 2013, and thanks to the staff there they were able to re-instate my old number A6810.
So here I go again, started U and working my way up, with a Limited Xdm I just received my B classification, woot woot!!!
30 minutes here we go!
