Yeah , I have been running CCI Sv for the longest but get tired of cleaning lead out of my comps. I’m thinking about changing but was curious on the idea of higher velocity ammo

In cf open we all run higher pf ammo to get the most advantage out our comps , so with that said do you run high velocity ( :ie velocitors, stinger, supermaximum) ammo out of your comped rimfire pistol?

Anyone had any experience with the Stoeger 3000 Sporting model w30 in ported bbl? Reliability, fit, poi etc.. I haven’t gotten to lay my hands on one yet but I plan to. I shoot a buddy’s 391 Teknys but it doesn’t fit me and I’m on a budget for a dedicated clays gun. I mostly shoot sporting clays and occasional round of skeet

Is WAC slower than HS6? I made major with a 125 Blackmaxx @1.165 with 7.6gr HS-6 and CCI Spp. No flattening or flow. But I hear CCI spp are a little harder. Never used anything but CCI

Looking to make up some starting loads for a factory trubor 9mm that's headed my way. I currently have HS-6 an 3n38 powders an a selection of 115,124& 147 coated bullets. Chrono is ready just looking for starting major data , searched but found several loads for popple holes

What's you coal? I'd like to try the 147 eventually

Kneelingatlas, up in the air at the moment. I've been reading some of your post on this platform, this is going to be mostly a steel gun, but if I get back to Uspsa and need major I won't be using that v12 barrel. I liked your Y-7 setup.

Looking at getting one of these soon, I do have some questions, I'm unfamiliar with this platform, I've been 1911/2011 since day one. Is this open pistol a small frame or large frame gun, reason I ask is I'm trying to fund mags.. any suggestions? What's a good combo for 140mm mags? I found a old thread on here that said 2 mags have to be welded for 170mm mags..? I do like that it comes with 2 barrels for major/minor. Anything I need to know before I get one?

Anyone happen to know what recoil spring weight is in the pro custom 16.40?

Yep completely stock . Just got them from midway yesterday.

Ran into an issue shooting my exec today. Wouldn't feed a few rounds here and there. Extractor tension has been checked. They rounds were hitting the top of the chamber and stopping. I proceed to take the mags apart and I had to push the follower out with a screw driver. I couldn't pull them out just by the spring. Is this normal with STI factory followers/ mags? Seems like some 1200grit around the edges of the followers would help but wanted y'all's opinion Eta these are brand new mags, first time today using them

Hijacked.. I found a post last the other day but cant locate it anymore. Anywho, someone had sent their barrel and some $ to Beven Grams to be throated. I would like to know how it turned out and if anyone has his contact info?? I tried calling him today but never got him. Is he a member here by chance? OR If someone has a (sharp).40 throating reamer they would like to rent I will do that also..

This was my experience with the same magazines. Same here. Mags ran great in my trojan 9mm

Congrats on beating that cancer! Just would like to add that I have 750ish rounds through my Rock island 2011 9mm #51679 so far as ive only had it a few weeks ( the dedicated 9mm version). I had one fail to feed from slide lock during the first 50 rounds and that was using 147gr f.p bullets. I love mine and it cost no more than a m&p with apex kit would cost you. Mags are 22 bucks..
