  1. WOW! I've also seen pics of them standing guard during a blizzard.
  2. If you read the manual, don't force anything, and pay attention to what you are doing, you shouldn't have any problems.
  3. I don't have any more, maybe someone else will chime in.
  4. I just checked Itunes, and it is still there. Surefire Shot timer
  5. I wonder when it was pulled; I just downloaded it yesterday.
  6. Agreed! I can't understand why that "show" hasn't been dropped.
  7. This isn't really a "training" app, but Surefire has a nice shot timer in the app store, and it's free.
  8. That rust can be cleaned off. As long as the machine functions ok, you can't go wrong for $29.00.
  9. If their are no pressure signs, I would be tempted to bump that up a tenth or two, since VV shows 5.7 as max. The SD sure looks good! BTW, how was the recoil?
  10. Powder check should be in the in the manual for the 1050...It is, for the 650.Ping..as in Sonar (sonar tech)...look at my avatar.
  11. I don't have a 1050, but here is a link to the manual. http://www.dillonprecision.com/#/manuals.html
  12. This isn't specifically for a Sig, but it will get you started. Link As for flair, I flair just enough so that the bullet will "sit" in the case, prior to seating.
  13. I weigh one when I refill the primer tube, and that is more out of habit than anything else. Like Sarge said, if you start weighing them every 5 or 10 rounds, it increases your chances for an error.
  14. It probably is small potatoes to some people here, butttt... ASSuming you shoot 10,000 rounds per year, reloading with WST saves you $60 a year... That's 2,000 primers ... Or a tank of gas. Yep to have the best for $6.00/ 1000? Yep simply a waste of time when you all waste that much weekly in smokes, chew, beer, shipping, Haz Mat, Starbucks, magazines, internet fees, games, girls, booze and millions of other things.
  15. It probably is small potatoes to some people here, butttt... ASSuming you shoot 10,000 rounds per year, reloading with WST saves you $60 a year... That's 2,000 primers ... Or a tank of gas. Yeah, I agree, $60.00 for 10k rounds is small potatoes.
  16. Have you ever used that on a Dillon? I did a search, and it seems that others have, but it also seems like it could damage the shell plate.
  17. Impact and inertia puller = same thing. From what you describe, it sounds like you were using a shell holder. That is the only "collet" that I am aware of that is open on one side.
  18. Generally, when a primer is properly seated (seated to FULL depth) it will be just below flush. Some modern day brass and primers are not manufactured to tolerances that they were in the past, so it may be impossible to seat below flush. Seating a primer until it "bottoms" out in the pocket is all that is necessary; any more and the primer can/will be crushed, and any less can/will cause miss-fires.
  19. IMO, using a shell holder in an inertia type puller is a recipe for a "surprise". Shell Holder use in inertia puller
  20. I come up with les than a penny a round difference in WST & N320 4.2g (n320 @$32.95 per pound) = 1667 rounds per pound = .0197 per round. 4.8 (WST @ 20.95 per) = 1458 rounds per lb. = .0143 per round.
  21. It's a typical CYA behavior when a corporation can smell anything that even mildly resembles a legal issue. That may be true, however, it would seem that the rep. could, at the very least, answer your questions, while still avoiding any issues. I think you may be spot on in your assessment in post 16 (full case / fast powder), coupled with the fact that WST "may" be somewhat temperature sensitive.
  22. WOW! The CS rep. must have got up on the wrong side of the bed.
  23. I can't get anything to download from there but I don't see haw any of these tips would pertain to a case sticking to the funnel. Yup, you're right...But there is some links in the bottom of that "tip" that do show how to polish the funnel. I should have posted that. http://forums.1911forum.com/showthread.php?t=154783
