  1. This. I believe mine was 65 in-lb. I do not use threadlocker on that. I only use it when mounting the base onto the receiver.
  2. I also have a glocktriggers.com trigger and was using the 4# striker spring with a zev skeletonized/extended striker. I still got light strikers here and there with my CCI primers. Switching to a 4.5# spring solved my issue. So switching to an extended striker doesn't necessarily solve all issues.
  3. Ah yeah. Sorry, forgot about that. I don't know many people that use the backstrap. Even the guys i know with huge hands don't put it on.
  4. I believe your site may have had some malicious code injected into it. It looks like the same thing that happened to a vbulletin forum that I help admin a while back. I was just coming to a thread here via google and was redirected to a 3rd party website. I had a friend do the same thing to make sure it wasn't my browser/computer and he got the same result. Appears to be the same type of code that affected our site, which only affected users coming from google or other major search engines and only affects users the first time they tried to visit the site. If you want to replicate this issue you have to either delete your cookies or open a new incognito/private browser window so you appear to be visiting the site for the first time. Go to google and type in a phrase that gets you results from the brianenos forums (I was using glock 35 tungsten guide rod). Clicking on a google result that goes to these forums redirected to a http://url4short.info/...... website that has since been removed. Like I said, my friend was also redirected to the same site so I don't think i have some sort of malware on this computer.
  5. Gen 4 Zev release is metal too. The zev release has a raked face. Is the glock release flat? That might be a difference.
  6. I used a 4lb spring with a Zev skeletonized/extended striker and had 2 light strikes with CCI primers over about 200-300 rounds. Changed to the 4.5lb and have not had the issue since.
  7. I don't see how that would help. I would think you need to go the other way. I shoot a G35 and found that with the KKM barrel I had to run a heavier spring than with the stock barrel in order to get the gun to reliably go into battery. I am running a 15lb ISMI spring now. I would try a heavier spring and see what happens. Also, I am not familiar with the wolff springs but if that one is a round wire spring try a flat spring instead. I had zero luck with round wire springs in my gun but the flat wire springs run great.
  8. No idea. Try searching in this forum. I recall it being discussed but I don't pay close attention to minor pf discussion.
  9. Lighter weight recoil springs = less perceived recoil? Yes, but you can't go too light. I shoot a G35 and run a 15lb spring. I tried lighter (13lb maybe?) but it wouldn't lock up reliably. I am shooting major PF so i don't think a 13lb would have worked anyway.
  10. I replaced my gen 4 RSA with an aftermarket rod and ISMI spring because it's the only way to run a lighter spring. So the benefit is being able to run different weight springs.
  11. I've only seen glock factory 10rd mags come with guns here in NY. Sounds like someone (FFL?) bought a non-compliant glock and modified the mags to me.
  12. After seeing the buildup inside of my kkm barrel compared to plated bullets you wouldn't catch me running them in a stock barrel. Love them in the aftermarket barrel though.
  13. I have an arredondo base pad and its cheap feeling. I use the TTI base pads. I also have a zev magwell and cut the retention pins shorter and at an angle. I can post pics if you want to see what I did with the pins.
  14. The dawson website said that the serrated rear sight that I bought was supposed to be used with some specific height front sight so that is the one i bought. I am at work behind a web filter so I can't look it up right now. My sight picture is a 6 o'clock hold. Rounds impact right on top of the front sight post.
  15. I have a dawson fixed serrated rear and fiber optic front on my G35. Like them a lot.

    Led cast bullets

Take a look at the sticky thread about lead in factory glock barrels at the top of this forum.
  17. Look at glocktriggers.com too. I have one (mine is not production legal but they do have one that is) and I like it a lot.
  18. Have the rules been finalized that allow it in limited? I thought it was pending.
  19. If you need a spray bottle, you are using too much lube.
  20. I use a C&S ambi release on both a 1911 and Browning Hi-Power. It works well. It's a little different motion in that you need to push it down toward the floor rather than in toward the frame. It's really easy to get used to and I have had no issues with it on the guns I mentioned which are both metal where the pivot contacts the frame. Not sure if it would feel any different against a plastic frame like a Glock has.
  21. That was my thought when I was buying.
  22. Red because it's what came already installed in my DP sights
