So I am very new to competition shooting started at the beginning of the year with GSSF and have progressed to USPSA. My holster I was originally shooting with was a level III duty holster. I've used it in a few minor matches with and had no issues.
My first big match was was a charity event for another shooter to help with an illness; the match also landed on my 29th birthday. First two stages went fine then came stage 3:
At start position shooter was down range gun loaded and in belt holding two fishing bouys. Shooter had to run sprint to activate stomp pad on left side. Buzzer goes off I drop bouys and sprint to stomp pad....unfortunately my running bounced my glock right out of my holster. Automatic DQ and I knew it. Fortunately, no miss fire and gun was pointed down range. My Gun was not locked into holster as it should if been.

Hey guys I am getting more into competition shooing with my Glock 22 .40S&W and I am looking to start reloading. What are your thoughts on using led cast only projectiles vs FMJ? Does anyone use the led cast ones for competition? Trying to keep costs as low as possible but want to be realistic too. Any tips and hints would be great. DF
