  1. I picked one of these up today. It's the 578 GLS Pro Fit holster. They had it at Academy. The "long" version works for the Tac Sport, Tanfo Limited, and SP01. Adjustment between the 3 is just a few turns of one screw. Haven't tried any other guns yet. The release is faster than a thumb lever. My normal draw releases the latch when I grip the gun. Pretty sweet!
  2. Assuming you are loading strong hand deuces/quads, its faster to maintain your weak hand firing grip on the handguard instead of rotating the gun in your hand. I've heard some people don't bend that way, but it works for me. I burned the $#!? out of my hand when I first started.
  3. I run the Noveske/Magpul with a 24C. Don't know anything about the others.
  4. When I first got mine it didn't have the short reset disco. There was so much pretravel and the trigger was so light that it was hard to prep the trigger without firing a shot. Shot reset disco got rid of all that take up and now I love it. As far as adjusting the SA without affecting the DA, I put a cz sear spring in my SA only tanfo to reduce the trigger pull. I wonder what the stiffer tanfo spring would do for the cz.
  5. Great match guys! I will be back next year. Awesome stages, everything ran really smooth, and we lucked out with the weather. I got both spinners to go over in 2 shots with Rio 7.5, 1280, 1 oz, 3 dram, and a LM choke. I like shotgun spinners. https://youtu.be/bw6r_pRsrT0
  6. The only option I know to get to 140mm is the 18 round SP01 mags with czc short extended basepads and followers. I get 22 easily reloadable.
  7. So far it looks like no rain until the afternoon. Fingers crossed! WindowsSon you can shoot my shotgun. I'll be the tall guy in a Broncos hat.
  8. Mine will loosen up a little over the course of a match. I usually check it before I load for a stage. But not 1/2 to a full turn on a single big stage. Never really considered it a problem. I run a versa tube with a long extension and no clamp.
  9. Bring plenty of ammo. You will want to have your own belt and holster, but your pockets will be fine for mags and shotshells for your first match. Here in Houston we have 3 monthly matches plus a few more that are less frequent. 2nd Saturday is West Houston Shooters Club. 3rd Saturday is Dissident Arms Multigun. 4th Sunday is Cawthon Cartridge Club.
  10. I run a carbon arms versa tube plus nordic extension for 14 in the tube. Runs and loads great with an uncut spring.
  11. Cawthon Cartridge Club has a 3 gun match on the 4th Sunday of the month. Dissident Arms Multigun has a 3 gun practice "match" on the 1st Sunday of the month at Impact Zone. We also have West Houston Shooters Club 3 gun on the 2nd Saturday and Dissident Arms Multigun on the 3rd Saturday. Still can't post links, but this should help... facebook dot com/dissidentarmsmultigun facebook dot com/CccPistolClub
  12. I've run into these a couple times in the past month or so. They had one in the Pikes Peak Shotgun Challenge that was REALLY wobbly. There was one in the New Dawn charity match that was more stable. It was a similar design but had springs connecting each corner of the platform to the frame. I can't post the video but here is a screen shot of the wobbly one.
  13. Nice! Its been a long time since we've done a big shotgun jungle run. Looking forward to it!
  14. If you quad load, 12+1 lets you load a quad right after the beep. I have been shooting a 14+1 setup and I like it a lot. For me, flexible stage planning outweighs the occasional close quarters awkwardness.
