I've only shot one. 1st place pistol was 58% of the PCC winner. There were a lot of long shots on paper and some strong/weak hand shooting at a pretty good distance. Doesn't mean anything...but I'm still smack talking, and they were still calling me a cheater. All in good fun.

I've hardly used this Chameleon load 2 belt since I started quad loading. I have plenty of capacity on the belt for big shotgun stages, but sometimes want to get the shells off of my belt and onto my chest. Prone shooting, crawling through tunnels, getting in and out of vehicles, etc. Instead of spending the money on a new chest rig, I removed the shell clips from the Chameleon belt and mounted ELS recievers. The holes were close enough to correct spacing that I didn't have to modify the belt. I spaced them out to fit 3 Invictus 2.8 and a 12Q for a total of 36 rounds. Pretty sweet setup and all I had to buy was 4 ELS recievers.

I strong hand quad load off of Invictus 2.8 and 12Qs. On lower round count stages I will load up the caddies in the order I am going to load the shells, starting on my right side. If I need to load 4 bird followed by 4 slugs, i will have them on the same caddie. But I will have extras, generally separate caddies by shell type. I end up with extra caddies on my belt most of the time. I like the extras to be my regular caddie type, even if that means some extra stuff on my belt. On bigger stages I usually separate shell types and grab what I need, when I need it. I have 2 12Qs and 3 2.8s and that seems to be good for just about any situation. The 12Q packs more shells on less real estate. The 2.8s make it easier to bend over, kneel, sit in cars.

The 16" will be easier, since the 14.5" has a pinned/welded comp.

For Production, the Tanfos definitely fit my big hands better. Stock 2 or 3, just depends if you want a rail. For other divisions or 3 gun, the Tac Sport/Czechmate or Tanfo Limited are all good for large hands.

This holster is where its at. Retention without a slowing the draw. Fits all my CZs and Tanfos. Inexpensive.

8 shells under 5 seconds is plenty fast for almost all stages. Usually you are moving anyway. Getting all the shells in the gun consistently is more important. Especially if the stage requires more than one type of shell....buck, slugs, bird, heavy bird. Shells on the ground can really mess up your plan. I quad load, but focus on getting the shells in the gun, not on speed.

I get that our shotguns are pretty ridiculous with the tubes extending waaaay past the barrel. But it is so much fun for this game! I am in the minority that runs a 14 round tube instead of 12. I feel like the long gun rarely holds me back, but the capacity regularly gives me an advantage.

At the SW regional, some of the stages had the PCC shooters engaging the targets differently. "If shooting 3 gun, engage white steel with rifle with one hit and blue steel with pistol with one hit. If shooting PCC, engage blue steel with 2 hits each with PCC." It made the stage brief confusing. If you have to have to specify a different stage procedure for PCC, separate the PCC stage brief and put it at the bottom of the page. Better yet, just use the rules and don't change the brief. "On all stages, PCC can be used on pistol and shotgun steel, pistol and rifle paper, and rifle steel inside 100." Hammering steel at close range with a rifle does look really fun.

12 round tube and you can throw a quad load in after the beep. That seems to be what most people run. More capacity = more stage plan flexibility. I find that 14 is not really much more difficult to handle than 12, so I run a 14 round tube.

This is one of the matches I was most looking forward to this year. The stages are always good, and I personally like burning through 10 of them in 1 day without a lot of sitting around in between. Hopefully it works out next year!

I like the Henning pads on my tanfo, but the CZC basepads should work fine for you. They are easy to take off for cleaning, work with the magwell, and get you to 140mm. You can use just about anything that will fit through the hole in the bottom to remove them.

The GLS pro fit holster is awesome. Retention without slowing down the draw. Usually universal holsters are "one size fits nothing". This thing fits the SP01 and Tac Sport really well. And its cheap!

On my Versamax, 14 round tube runs with a standard spring, uncut. When i was playing in open, a 17 round tube required the HD spring. Didn't try anything in between.

For limited/3gun, I believe the only option to get to 140mm is factory sp01 mags and czc basepads. With the springs and followers, that should get you to 22 rounds.

I played in open with a tube gun last year. I quad load pretty well and usually didn't feel like I was at a big disadvantage to the mag fed guns, except the unloaded starts. Usually there is plenty of movement/time to load. Plus I had the advantage of being able to throw a slug in the gun mid stage. You might consider a longer tube. 14 is still reasonable to handle. I ran a 17 round tube and it was a little ridiculous to handle and slow to safely ground in shallow barrels.

I just put the Czechmate back into iron sight configuration and it works great. You should be good to go.

Just to make sure before I buy one: Did you actually try the CZ-75 Tactical Sport that it fit the long slide holster (578-683-551) and locked in the holster ?CZ TS is pretty hard pistol to find a good holster with a locking system. If this works I will buy one in a heart beat. I found out about this holster when a shooting buddy showed up to a 3gun match with one. When I first posted, I thought he shot a tac sport. Turns out his gun is the predecessor to the tac sport, the IPSC Standard. Not sure if there are any dimensional differences or not.

12+1 is probably the sweet spot. I run 14. It is occasionally a little difficult in tight quarters and shallow grounding barrels, but for me the flexibility with stage plans outweighs the occasional disadvantage due to the length.

Miculek works and the price is right. It is loud though.
