  1. I like the looks of the setup, that's for sure. I think my STI might get a change soon. Anxious to hear how it holds up to some blasting!
  2. Probabaly has more to do with the shooter than gunsmith I watch my dot is dipping down and left all the time. The meathead driving the gun is jerking the snot out of the trigger!
  3. I'm very new to Open and the mad science of compensators, but I have learned that minor has a big spread...125 PF is nothing like 160 PF. I have a Trubor with the T2, and out of the box it wouldn't even cycle my 132 PF Production loads. Now that it's broken in, it will run fine with that load, but the comp does absolutely nothing. It's not even remotely fun to shoot. I wanted a minor load for steel events (PSA has a velocity limit and my Major load is too fast), so I experimented until I found the spot where the gun stayed flat. I ended up at 150 PF. 6.0 gr AC under a MG 124 JHP @ 1.175". Noticeably softer than my Major load, but the gun runs, it works the comp, and no spring changes.
  4. It's all I use anymore for 9 minor. 3.7-4.2 under a 147, depending on lead/jacket/plated, and temperature. It reverse temp sensitive so I have to crank it up a little in the summer, but it's very soft shooting in all my guns. I heard a rumor that the AA team Glock load uses WSF.
  5. The only solution is to get them all. Trust me! I do favor the longer sight radius on the 34 and Pro but I shoot the same size groups with my 19. The 19 is my carry gun but I do run it in matches occassionally and the only thing I really notice is the shorter grip.
  6. I think we'll see pigs fly before they bring back the Brig slide on anything. But what the hey, I'll sign it. If you have an E2, be thankful for it! I sure am.
  7. That's a neat mod, nice job. The Brigadier and Vertec slides are becoming very rare and very very expensive. Brig slides alone are running $500+ these days. If you got 'em, enjoy 'em!
  8. The slide looks AWESOME! Can't wait to see more progress with this build.
  9. I'd suggest checking the sear spring, the trigger bar, and the trigger bar spring. Did you have it apart recently? I've seen sear springs put in backwards cause this.
  10. It may have changed recently, but during the past year or two, you actually couldn't find an American made 92FS in the US, as the US plant was strictly running M9's. They were bringing all the commercial 92 FS's in from Italy. I have both, and there are no real differences between the American and Italian 92 FS. The only one I know of for sure is the hammer cap pin on the Italian guns is a roll pin that must be drifted out with a punch, not a straight pin like the US versions. The standard M9 has a straight dust cover and non-radiused backstrap, along with the gov't markings. The 92 FS has the slanted dust cover and the radiused backstrap. The M9A1 (or 92FS type M9A1 as it is officially labeled), has the accessory rail, front and rear checkering on the grip, and a beveled mag well (just like the Elites). Otherwise the controls and features are the same between all 3 variants (92 FS, M9, M9A1). They are all on the Production list these days, too. Until I found my E2 over the winter, I was using the M9A1 as my primary gun.
  11. I had Cylinder & Slide cut serrations in the front sight of my M9A1. Then I refinished the sight in ultra black Duracoat, so now it's a glare-free black beacon out on top of the gun. It's not a good as my E2 with the Dawson FO, but it's big improvement over the stock smooth blade.
