I started paleo a few months ago. I am not 100%-still drink Coke Zero. I've dropped about 30 lbs now and have a ton of energy. That translates into not being whipped at the end of a 3 gun match. My BP was barely under control (with meds) pre-paleo and is now absolutely correct. I am guessing my cholesterol will be fine too-tests this month. It is a simple transition. Dave

Based on the matches I have shot at Rockcastle (this year)-if a magnet sticks (to the projectile)it is forbidden. Dave

Pistol matches have become boring. I've only shot a handful this year. 3 gun is more fun and interesting. Prize table has nothing to do with it (for me). If you shoot for prize table return, you may want to check your math-it's cheaper to stay home. I shoot less matches with 3 gun than pistol and enjoy it more. I look forward to 3 gun matches. Dave

Yup-wonder how many missed the rifle ammo notes. What did we miss? I think Dave is referring to the "no steel jacket or core" rifle ammo. Brings up questions about bimetal stuff from newer shooters at about every match. Question about how to check: magnet of bolt cutter....of both. Can they shoot the cheaper stuff at paper, but not at steel...etc. Yup

Where do you see a map and what r we shooting 3 miles away? Is it at the Red Barn? Gary posted a link to the map on page 14. Thunder Valley is about 3 miles on past the entrance where the red barn is located.
