  1. I took the stock spring from my trophy match and cut 2 coils off and have had no misfires. The cci blazers have been great besides the leading issues. After 500 rnds I was amazed at the amount of lead that came out of the barrel.
  2. I like 230's better, seems softer. But that's this schmucks opinion.
  3. 4.2 WST, 230 precision black bullets, 1.23 172pf at 100 degrees.
  4. Picked mine up from Matt yesterday. Will be at the range this afternoon.
  5. Brandon, I might have drive to Matt's and pester him till he gets it done. Hmm only 2 hours away
  6. I just ordered one from Mink on Friday. I was able to shoot a few rounds through his gun a couple of months ago. I had been debating about getting one and finally ordered it. Can't wait to get it!
  7. I picked one up on friday. Trigger was decent and shoots well. Sights were on and it points very nice. So far I have put over 250 rounds through it. I have tried 115, 124, 147 gr round nose and some hollow points. It has feed everything and no hiccups. I like the feel of it better than my glock 27.
  8. I would like the belt. Paypal?

  9. I am already about 3k deep for this year. Thats including a new SS. But I still have to buy a reloader and the fixins' to start that. I have had a lot of costs this year but I am buying good stuff up front and having everything the way I want it and then it will(hopefully) only be the occasional repair parts and reloading supplies. I shoot lots of local matches and only planning one big match. The good part is since part of my job entails firearms instruction I can write it off on my taxes. last year was a conseritive 4,500 bucks.
  10. i just got back from the range and all of the mags worked fine. Problem solved for now!
  11. I received some new wolf springs and a Dawson ext base. I also bought a couple of new magazines and I am ready to go out and give them a run. The old springs( less than 6 months)that came with the arredondo ext bases were already the same length as the new stock springs when i disassmbeled the new mags.
  12. I have watched the Dawson video And filed and smoothed the followers. I have tried different followers as well as Mag bodies. The ext and springs were bought new. I am shooting the same load as before the ext. So i dont think it is OAL. But I do appreciate the suggestions. i ordered a couple of new wolf springs and 1 dawson extension to give it a try.
  13. I have three arrendondo extended basepads and springs i am using in my G35. They will all load to 20 rounds as advertised but will not reliably feed in my gun. even if I only load them to only 17 or 18 rds. I have done the dawson trim on the follower but I consistently have FTF's. Sometimes it will be mid-mag or closer to the end. It feels like the spring is too weak to push the bullets up to reliably feed. I was thinking about trying the Dawson extenders or trying some wolf springs to see if they are are any stronger. Any ideas???
  14. Every one likes what I have done! Watch some videos and do it yourself, really easy.
  15. I finally shot mine a couple of weeks ago. My observations as follows... Intial few mags were painful. Lots of FTF, FTE, not returning to battery. Broke it down and recleaned and ran it really wet with some FP-10. Started getting more reliable. I had installed a set of pacmyer grips and had to modify them to work with the ambi safety. I didnt remove enough materil and broke the ambi safety. Replaced the safety and installed the original grips and it was fun to shoot. I am going to install soem sights to mirror my Springfield and it should be some fun. I still havent bought anymore magazines due to other guns and the addition of a second jeep. Man I need to pick some less expensive hobbies! Greg
  16. I have the W/S sights on my Glock. It is getting changed out. I find myself searching and taking longer for the sight to settle with them. Going with a dawson precision rear. Decided to make all of my sights the same, 1911, M&P, Glock. Should help me with consistancy. LPA? I'm just curious what does the Dawson rear looks like and if any advantage over the Warrens? The dawson is adjustable, black serrated, looks like a big billboard. Similar to the Bomar. It is my personal taste. Plus I want all the gun sight the same. I think it will be easier on me when switching divisions. I like a .100 front signt with a .125 rear. I actually sight in quicker and more accurately than with the small fron and the large rear opening. I focus more on Single Stack than limited. Ok I checked them out but it does require a .285 tall front sight ? I think so. Going to call and talk to Dawson about it. when I make the switch. I havent done it yet due to funds and other hobbies, intrests. Toomany hobbies for my budget, lol. I think going with LPA is a better choice if you really want an adjustable rear, just my 2 cents LPA?

  21. A 3/4 inch PVC pipe about 4 feet tall stuck in the ground at 100 yards. 5th shot cut it in half with an M&P 45. Bone stock. Lots of witnesses but was not about to try it again.
  22. I have been shooting red in SS and Lim-10 because that was in them when i had the sights installed. During a match last week i lost the FO out of my SS twice! All I had left was green. The last 4 stages I shot great. Cant say it was the sight but i am going to run with it and see what happens. Greg
  23. Oh well. Would of been a great alternative to buying base pads.
  24. I have seen the magazines for sale and not a typo 22rd .40 mag. Has anyone seen or heard what the length of these magazines are? Under 140mm hopefully?
  25. Changing over my pouches for the glock right now. Havent decided if I am going to shoot L-10 or Limited. I like the idea of less mag changes after shooting SS this summer. Still need to get me some mag extensions then I will have some fun in limited.
