Old thread kindly bumped up by Kyle! Was wondering if any new Gen 4 owners were having this problem? I do with my G17. Seems to be an issue with the extractor from many threads on GlockTalk. I do have a replacement RSA coming in from Glock, but the brass-in-face situation is getting to be quite a nuisance. I got cut on my forehead by brass last week, didn't know I bled until I got home. Glock tech support guy told me to wear a hat.

Nope, shooting a modified Iso. I don't think it's actually to do with my grip. Even when I death grip it, brass still ejects in my face, or even to the left...

Same problem with the Glock 10 round mags we get up here. If they are factory 10 mags, they may just need to be compressed a bit. Charge the magazine will the full 10 rounds with something like a UpLula and leave it for a week like that, empty it and repeat. My Glock mags used to require a very hard smack to seat properly, but they work fine.

I need to work on this too, but I found that getting a pair of shoes with a rounded heel edge helps a lot (compared to edgy/squared heels).

Thanks for the awesome tips! Problem I'm running into is that I can see the sights lift with no problem, and I can see the brass eject without a problem. My Gen 4 Glock 17 then spits that shell into my face, causing me to blink and missing the 2nd sight picture.

Does using a 6 O'Clock hold on a production pistol make it that much more difficult to transition to a open pistol with a classic C-more mount?

Hello from a province over to your East I'm also RH with L eye dominant, and I'm having success shooting with my gun held in front of my left eye.

Just wanted to say I absolutely love my RM for Glock (IPSC Production). Saul was fantastic to work with too. But you all know that I'm lucky in that I did not have to modify the locking clip at all to fit my Glock 17 Gen 4!

JAB, I recommend you look at CGN and see what people do over there. I'm just about to start the process of importing a used Caspian .38SC from the classifieds here into Canada through Clay at Prophet River. Just figuring out the last bits of details!
