    What should I do....

If your up to it take it apart and polish everything inside. Install SRT in place of standard parts. and dry fire the snot out of it for practice and to see how your polish job helped. others have already talked about the springs.
  5. sell a bunch of them at my shop and generally have great acceptance. Only had one traded in. so that tells me that the people like em. Buy it and enjoy it. they shoot amazingly accurate for a small gun jcc7x7
  6. call SIG if my memeory serves me correctly I think the 220 target has an extended release on it

    SIG X5 All Around

Shoot about 400 rnds of practice and working a new handload. Then last week won the first match I shot with it. Obviously I like it, much nicer to shoot than my regular 226. Want to figure out a way to lighting it to make IDPA wgt. but don't think I can stripe that much wgt and still pass inspection for altering gun. Any way in the mean time I'm using it for production. Got a new holster coming for it. Loading handload a little long as the throat seems longer than standard 9mm, accurate with 124, 135 lead and 147 lead. Seems to run the best with 124 hornady HAP bullets and WSF Did the polish on all interal parts and installed a SRT, now looking for a FO front sight, thou the way I shoot last week maybe I'll keep the black blade Enjoy y'alls posts thks jcc7x7

    para 16-40

Season is about over here outdoors due to up coming fall/snow. Gun ran great all summer. Very pleased to say. Shot it over my STI Eagle cause I scored better with it. No problems NONE. even with pwr ext. Sorry for you guys that are having problems but mine is great, glad I got it. Have a great winter and shoot straight or at least fast!@!!! Jcc7x7
  9. SIG's guns are calibrated at 50 ft. per the standard SIG info frt sight change needs to be .010 lower for each inch (appox) you want to move the POI. If you have to move it alot you probably need a set. Dawson will gaurantee POA/POI sets. Call them for the up to date info

    Reliablity?

16-40 bought this spring and shot it all thru the summer and now into the fall without a problem. Replaced hammer and sear with a S&S kit and put a Dawson magwell on it with Dawson base pads. It will hold 21 40S&W, plus one in the chamber and run, mine are loaded at 1.190 but it shoots factory magtec or Amer. Eagle. just fine. It runs fine I own an STI eagle and it runs great also but I shoot the Para better so I'm thinking of selling the STI that is all set up with 2 Dawson tuned mags and 3 home tuned mags. I also put the S&S hammer and sear kit in it. I'd give the para a go and think you'll like it. Only thing I'd like is more after market triggers for the gun so we had more of a choice with that! 11. Does your slide lock back with the para springs and followers? I can get 20 in the mag with dawson base and an over size spring and para follower and they are reloadable. Is there any good followers out there? Thks jcc7x7
