  1. The powder that always gives me the best accuracy regardless of pf- from 150 all the way to 180 has been aa7 and sp2. Hs6 comes next and autocomp comes in last. Autocomp is very accurate in a very limited range of pf in. It’s my open guns.
  2. I have done lots of accuracy testing and the ones that I’ve consistently gotten <2” groups are Acme 145. Now for powder, I would say sport pistol is top notch and very forgiving, much like titegroup, but without the high temps.
  3. What is the consensus (if there is) on slow vs fast poder for minoridad in open?
  4. Hi is this confirmed? About to order a barrel! Assuming the a400 ! Not sure if extrema! Will work
  5. Have an o/u gun that I’d like to add a 4 way adjustable comb. Any recommendations in the Atlanta area?
  6. Looking to see if the barrels are interchangeable. Would appreciate anyone that has both to see if they are the same. My daughter is getting into clays and have a 21” 1301that is like to put a 28” barrel on it. There are several 28” A400 barrels in eBay for about $250. Thanks!
  7. No issues with mine and have had it for a few years now.
  8. There are a few 28” barrels in eBay for about $250 bucks. Not bad if it works. Would have a 21” for 3 gun and 28” for clays.
  9. What I've noticed is that when I load plated or coated, I get a lot of leading at the comp. On an open gun, this is not the issue. So the hypothesis would be that in 5 inches the plating or coating is still good, but in a 16" barrel, the plating and coating wears off before leaving the comp, hence leading. I don't shoot PCC much, but all loads would be CMJ just because removing lead out of a comp is a PITA.
  10. I'm going to go pattern my shotgun later this week, but I've noticed from slo motion video that when I shoot 1145 fps loads, the pattern is much more dense than when I shoot 1300 fps loads. As a mater of fact, the 1145 loads look like they never make it out of the wad as the video shows a black blob and no wad falling out... on the 1300 fps, the wad clearly separates and the shot spreads.
  11. I have a few non ported berettas 686 and a Rizzini. Just got a browning citori skeet, which comes with porting. My shoulder tells me the Citori kicks less... but not sure if it's because of the porting or the overall design.
  12. I've had mine for a few years. Never had an issue - works perfect, clean once a year. Not a single malfunction. Kids shoot it for clays with 1oz ultra light loads without any issues, and I shoot it with heavy loads in 3 gun for those long range steel.
  13. Thanks - do you know if that's the case for the barrels also?
  14. Th 145s are very accurate with Sport pistol, I load 3 grains for a 128 PF. The 122 grain are very accurate as well for 9mm major.
  15. Yes you are right, the RTS2 is just more pronounced. Side by side to the DPP it has a little more distortion. Some people like that more, but for me, I like the least amount of distortion.
  16. Glass is domed on the RTS2, which I'm not a fan of. The crystal is also darker due to the coating. But the think that I hate the most is adjustments are not as positive as the DPP and my site keeps on turning off occasionally during course of fire. My DPP has been flawless.
  17. Metalforms for 9mm and wilson for 45. They work in my STI, Para, and Colt without any issues.
  18. Yeah you're right. I was amazed at the no nonsense immediate solution. If the rest of retail can match the gun industry, it would be something else!
  19. Interesting. Last year the replaced a deltapoint to a pro when it broke. I had that one for about 3 years.
  20. Yeah. Reloading can optimize the gun on you. Besides, the savings is pretty big. There are a lot of resources on enos to help you get to the best load.
  21. That doesn’t hold for the delta points - those have a lifetime warranty.
  22. Love my 1301. Not a single malfunction. Fast and no recoil. And tales any ammo. The rib is nice and high too. Wish they sold other stocks for it, like nice wood.
