  1. That's the selling point for me! Build the stages and they will come...
  2. That is a sweet carbine. I was able to handle my brother-in-law's while I was in the Philippines and shoots pretty flat on full auto. Ammo is twice as much out there though and almost impossible to find.

    35 Doubled Once

I had an old frame Glock 22 that went full auto on me before. I had about 7 or 9 rounds in the mag which got emptied when it happened (there in Richmond too). It can be repeated by pulling the trigger without letting it reset all the way. Sent it back to Glock and they replaced all the internal parts.
  4. Hi Randy! Checkout Sin City Shooters to get contact info and call for schedules. I like haras' idea, you can get the exact item you need from the internet. I would suggest checking the phone book when you get there and call the stores first. Good stores to visit will be Citadel Gun and Safes, Bill's Buy & Sell (closing doors on August 28), The Gun Store, American Shooters Supply and lots more if you got the time. Have fun!
  5. Here's my load through 4 port Hybrid plus 5 port comp. 10gr of 3N38 MG 124gr JHP (.355) Starline Super Comp brass 1.235 OAL WSR primers Averaging to 167 pf. I'm also thinking of using 7625 eventually.
  6. Chung, welcome to the game! You are more than welcome to shoot with us in Richmond, CA. What caliber do you need for your dummy rounds? I might be able to help. As for a timer, I happen to have a new PACT Mark IV (not the XP) with case and skyscreen rod all in the box that I'm planning on selling. Visit Richmond Hotshots for more info. Come by this Saturday for practice and might be able to shoot the Sunday match if you're ready. Let me know what equipment you have so far. PM me if you have other questions.
  7. Thanks for the input Sam, I think I'll try it out. Too bad bberkely decided to sell his after I ordered one .
  8. Anybody using one of these for 3-gun? Is it too heavy whipping it around? Thanks.

    Barsto Question

I too got a Bar-Sto on my G22 but it's a fitted one. Try loading to 1.130, I don't think it requires reaming.
  10. Congratulations Dan! You got to teach me how to shoot a wheel gun one of these days.
  11. I also load .308s for my 700P using 168gr SMKs and never have to crimp. Shoots sub MOA at 100 yards. I crimp the ones I use for my M1A. From what you described, it seems that you did the setup correctly but instead of doing the half turn, do it little at a time until you're satisfied with the crimp; doesn't really require too much. The picture does show too much crimp, FWIW.
  12. Sorry, but I just got to throw this in. It is possible that by next month Joe Shooter will be out of luck. Unless he lives outside of San Francisco he won't be allowed to own a handgun . I strongly support L10 and Production, I would hate to see nice people go if these divisions were to be eliminated. I believe USPSA will not be as strong as it is now without these divisions.
  13. I got both. I like the CED's features and never bothered trying the PACT (still got the skyscreens and bar in the box ). PC interface works great too. Get the CED!
  14. I like it! Nicely done, amazing how they got the finger groves out. How much for the frame work? Thanks.
  15. Like what George said. I never touched mine ever since.
  16. Used 140-145 PF loads and adjusted it while the gun is dirty. Opened it to where it just locks back and another half turn. Runs great with factory ammo and 155 PF loads, gun barely moves. Just don't forget to loctite the screw, the damn thing closed up on me twice when I first got it.
  17. Well, to make you feel better. I bought a PACT Mark IV complete with case and skyscreen bar before the new XP version came out. I haven't played with it yet and still in the box. Will probably sell it after I get this new CED.
  18. Saw one at the SHOT show when Dave Thomas was checking it out. Looks really cool, will get one for sure. Looks like a cell phone
  19. That looks neat. Would be really interesting to get some feedbacks.
  20. I use a Bar-Sto fitted barrel, THE brass magwell, stainless steel guide rod and use ISMI 15lb spring with three loops cut away. Recoil seems decent, but not as flat as a G24 for sure.
  21. 4.3gr titegroup 180 jhp zero bullets win. sp primers mixed brass will give you about 168.5 PF I shoot the same load, except I use 4.7 grains of Titegroup. I use 4.7gr of Titegroup too, just to be sure I always meet power factor. I heard a lot of people use VV N320 too with great results.
  22. This is sold as a single unit but technically two optics. Will this be legal for Tactical?
  23. Check out mine Nothing fancy, but lots of fun to shoot.
