North Texas MultiGun will be hosting a NIGHT 3-Gun match on May 25 in Cresson, Texas. It will be 6 fun stages, with the minimum round count being approx. 180 rifle, 180 pistol, 120 birdshot, and 15 slugs. The stages will be set up like a regular 3-Gun match, just at night! It will be 5 stages with a combination of hoser and long range (550 yards), all on natural terrain. Approx. round count is 120 rifle, 120 pistol, 80 birdshot, 5 slugs. Chrono's are relatively inexpensive and a necessity for reloaders, IMO

I had the same issues. Changing to a 124 grain fixed it. Some say the rifling in the old M&P barrels aren't sufficient to stabilize a heavier projectile. I haven't tried the new barrels in the CORE YET.

UPDATE AS OF JANUARY 22, 2013: North Texas Multigun will start holding our 4th Saturday 3 Gun match again, starting this Saturday, January 26 at 9:00 am. AT THE CRESSON LOCATION. Due to the current supply of ammo we will be introducing a Rimfire division and lower round count to try and keep it economical. The Rimfire division will be in addition to the other divisions. We will not be changing the other divisions. In the Rimfire division you can run any caliber pistol you like, as long as you can holster that pistol. For safety reasons, DON'T SHOW UP WITH A RIMFIRE PISTOL THAT DOES NOT FIT IN A HOLSTER. The Rimfire divisions will use the same rules as our OPEN division, with the exception of ammo. Ammo in the rifle or pistol can be .22 or larger. For the near future, round count at our 3 Gun matches will not exceed 75 Rifle, 75 Pistol, 35 Birdshot, and 5 slugs. DAA belts are thicker than most which is why they are stiffer than most. To make the Teklok fit, pinch it together like you would normally, and pry each locking tab to the outside. You should be able to close the flip over locking tab then. This process works for me...

I have never had luck with welds holding up on AR 500. After a lot of hits the welds crack, but maybe it's my skill level. I like to bolt to AR 500. If you want picts. of our plates on a stand, I can get some tomorrow

I run a Surefire 60 99% of the time. I keep a 30rd Oh-$hit mag on my belt. In my bag is a 48 (P-MAg W/ NC +18) and a 20 rounder. The 48 & 20 is for awkward prone positions

I use NRA for our matches. Good rates

TF, IMO. Harder to take the base off, but hold up much better. I've abused mine, dropped them on concrete at indoor matches, etc.

The 2011 5" short dust cover 9mm has become the must-have 3-Gun pistol. IMO

Carry gun (standard mag, not the 140mm in the pict) Competition gun No problem between practicing with my carry and comp. gun.

In outlaw 3 gun, any holster is legal.

I take them to the recycle yard when I'm in the area about once a year. I think last time, I got around $2/lb.

The DSG 1.75" is very solid. Can't go wrong with it. Priced higher than others, but you get what you pay for.
