  1. Registration and stages are uploaded for this months match. Weather looks good for January! Come out and join us! http://www.northtexa...igun_Match.html
  2. Caleb of Lone Star Medics has put together an impressive list of medical professionals all in one place! To all of my shooting and CHL buddies, take a second to read the description of the conference. I'm signed up and going. http://lonestarmedics.com/tactical-medicine-conf/
  3. I get a 1" group with my NC barrel and 69gr Stillwood Ammo
  4. Sure, that's fine. If you can make it, please try and get there around 7 so we can get you registered
  5. Heroes Project Charity Multigun Match Update: There are still slots available. The weather looks like it will be good with a high of 61 on Saturday! Perfect shooting weather. If you haven't registered, go do it now: http://www.theshooterssource.com/2014-heroes-project-multigun-charity-match-p-21041.html 100% of the proceeds are going directly to Heroes Project, so come on out, have fun and for a good cause! We're going to have some pay-to-play side stages-all money going to Heroes Project. Shooting a side stages enters you into a raffle to win some goodies. Adams Arms has stepped up in a big way and donated multiple Uppers for the giveaways, as well as other numerous, generous sponsors. Hope to see you there!
  6. I run multigun matches on the 4th weekend of every month - www.northtexasmultigun.com. Bring what you have and run it. I would strongly suggest not going out and buying a bunch of stuff before you have a chance to shoot a few matches. You'll have a chance to see what others are running and why and see if it works for you. Eotech is fine, but would suggest a 200'ish yard zero. We regularly shoot out to 400+ yards. There's several of us that have back-up guns and gladly loan them to our squadmates who made not have the right stuff now. Or, shoot our 2 gun division (pistol/rifle) If you want a taste, we're having a match this weekend you can come out to! Feel free to find me at the range and I'll help any way I can.
  7. Do you want to sell the one in your drawer? Everything is for sale. Did they quit making them? I am always looking for a deal, but rarely looking for MSRP! Starting sometime tonight, you'll be able to get the hand guard at 20% off. Keep an eye on the website.
  8. It would probably create a weak point in the tube, even with some form of glass on it. Especially since the norm is running the tube past the end of the barrel for capacity. I could see how spiking a shotgun in a dump barrel would bend or break it.
  9. 11/23 & 11/24 matches re cancelled due to weather. Weather permitting, we'll see you guys in December!
  10. To my knowledge, everything is public on FB. Here's a link: https://www.facebook.com/NorthTexasMultigun?ref=hl
  11. We are honored to announce we have teamed up with Scalpel Arms to host a Heroes Project Multigun Charity Match. 12. Why do we have to wait till March?! Looking forward to it. Steve is a mastermind stage designer!!
  13. As some might have read, we'll start slinging some long guns at our matches. November's match will incorporate a slung rifle in a stage or 2. We're adding 2 new divisions: Precision Bolt and Precision Semi Auto. For these divisions, it's basically a 4 Gun match. Precision Division participants must shoot at min a 243 and max a 30cal. You will engage smaller, longer targets on the long range stages. The targets will be clearly identified for you and the 3 Gun divisions will not be required to engage said targets.Until this gets traction, we're simply going to say that all rules applies as in Tact-Optics, except you can have a bi-pod and all that good stuff on your Precision gun. This division will be developed and organized better as times goes on. I'm sure they'll be questions and if you're on FB, please go here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/261928403927136/ so we can keep all the questions there. If not, please post away and I will do my best to answer them in a timely fashion. See you on the range!
  14. Yes. At least 3 points of contact. Gotta ask , why?
  15. H&M Metals used black nitride on my 2011. I was very impressed with their service, work, and turn around time-1 week.
  16. Consider loading an extra slug when you load the main slug, as an insurance shot. You're giving up 5+ seconds the way you described your method. Maybe slow down on the shot and take an extra second or two to make that one count.
  17. North Texas Multigun (NTMG) will start hosting The Steel Match on the 3rd Saturday of every month at Extreme Tactics and Training Solutions! Follow the link for more details and match registration. http://www.northtexasmultigun.com/The_Steel_Match.html
  18. Registration is open for July's match. Please preregister for the match, as it helps the flow of the sign in process. Thanks! http://www.northtexasmultigun.com/Match_Registration___Inform.html
  19. They are not compatible without some modifications, i.e. drilling holes in the TMMS to line up with existing holes in the MME. It can be done, just takes a little work
  20. The ASR will make you spread apart the gear more due to their width vs that of a TL. If you're not worried about real estate, then both are great attachments. On a side note- to save money, I've seen people bolt the female part of the TMMS straight to their belt...
  21. 7/2/13 UPDATE: Starting in July, NTMG & 3MR have teamed up and began jointly hosting a 3 Gun Nation Club Series match at ETTS in Waxahachie, TX. Matches will be held on the 4th weekend of the month, with separate events on Saturday AND Sunday. This will be our only match of the month. The stages will be exactly the same on both days. This will give shooters the flexibility of shooting on Saturday or Sunday. The scores will be totaled at the end of each day and scored as separate matches. For more information, visit www.northtexasmultigun.com Thank you, Jeremy & Maurice Match Directors
